Turtle Bay Dive Resort

We had a really great stay here, great quiet location and the staff were always helpful in organising transport etc, they organised our airport transfer which was super easy after a long journey! The rooms were great and the pool area was nice too. Breakfast was awesome and they were brilliant with restocking the fridge in the rooms, also had a great selection of areas in the grounds to chill out or have a drink. Would really recommend if you want a quiet location a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Panagsama beach but very accessible by moped or tricycle in less than 10 mins!

Our only improvement points would be that the ‘Beach’ area could do with tidying up, the rest of the grounds are immaculate but this would really benefit from some work, the restaurant also didn’t have a great atmosphere, probably as simple as turning the lights down a bit though!

Loved the location - this is not for those who want to stay in a busier area. It is for those who want access to a quieter pocket of nature in a larger diving resort. We loved being able to snorkel off the back of the hotel every day, the bay is full of sea turtles and coral fish. The pool is fantastic, the staff were friendly - Jessie in particular was great and always very helpful!

The food in the restaurant could have been better for the price. The rooms need some maintenance. Our hot water tap were not plumbed in on our sink, and the toilet kept breaking.

Turtle bay was a fantastic experience, really great attention to detail. Our room was lovely, and we had a great sea view. we enjoyed great breakfasts made daily. CJ made sure we had an excellent experience learning to dive and completing our PADI, an experience we will never forget. CJ and his staff truly made this stay excellent. Great snorkelling off the house reef with plenty of turtles to see! Location is great, a short tricycle ride away from the main eating and drinking area, with plenty of options for vegan/ vegetarian food and live music and bars, but because of its location the resort itself remains quiet and peaceful at all ours. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was delicious - had the options of westernised food or traditional filipino breakfast. I loved the free kayak out the back and the ability to rent snorkels on site. There is an amazing reef just off the back of the hotel with loads of starfish and tropical sealife around the place. You can also rent motorcycles easily to access the town as it is a little bit outside of the town.

When I arrived, I had to wait 20 mins to get into my room as reception was closed and the security guard seemed to not know which room I was in or where the key to the room was. I would expect that if I was arriving late this would be organised prior to the hotel staff leaving. Other than this, everything was fantastic!

It's a very nice resort with great facilities, including a nice pool, spa and a dive shop. But what I enjoyed the most was the friendly and thoughtful service. Especially the manager, CJ, who help us organize a day trip to Oslob to do snorkeling and diving with whale sharks. He arranged everything to make sure we had enough time to do both activities despite being high season, as well as to drive us afterwards to our ferry to Bohol. We wouldn't be able to arrange this without CJ's help, thank you!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Resort’s backyard opens to the ocean, which is wonderful. Great view from our room which had a sea view. Snorkelled in the ocean just by our resort, saw corals, fishes and sea turtles. Lovely place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Could even get a massage there at the bay spa! Staff were welcoming, manager CJ was friendly as well. Breakfast included, which was delightful. Restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner if you don’t wish to travel out for a meal. :) perfect for a quick getaway!

It’s a little far from the main tourist area with restaurants (Panagsama Beach), had to take a 5-7 min tricycle ride over. But I suppose that’s the beauty of it, as our resort was quiet and relaxing. :)

The restaurant had a good range of food options and lovely outlook over the bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet Diving was excellent with all dive requirements on site. We dived as a family of four and had our own boat and dive master most days

Coffee was average but I am a coffee snob .we would have loved a gin and tonic but some limit to alcohol options. Our room required us to not flush toilet paper but put it in the bin but rooms were well serviced daily Only real downside is the 3 hour transfer from Mactan/ cebu airport to the resort The resort is not walking distance to any other shops or the centre of town but easy shuttle

Loved the environment, vibe, facilities, hospitality and service. Despite being under the process of restoration after being hit by the typhoon, the resort has stood its ground and outperforms on cleaniness, civic infrastructure, faciliities and service. CJ (owner and manager) was immensely helpful in arranging the diving trips and provided useful tips and suggestions. Will definitely stay here again in future.

Wifi reception is not so strong in the corner sea facing room where we stayed but is excellent everywhere else. Again, nothing significant in affecting the quality of our stay in this lovely place.

A beautiful hotel, located right on the water with an amazing reef full of fish and turtles. The location is great as its close enough to bars and shops to ride in on a scooter in only a few minutes but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle. Facilities were extremely clean and comfortable

Some facilities could do with a little modernisation and the coffee machine was not working for the duration of our stay. However only minor things

The staff was absolutely delightful. Prompt, courteous and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we hoped. We got delayed in arriving because of bad weather and ended up only having 1 day of diving. They made sure we got the dives we hoped for and helped us with organizing everything on short notice. I wish our stay could have been longer. The property is gorgeous. Food was delicious. Dive shop was modern and has nitrox available.

I have no complaints. Our stay was short but everything went smoothly.
