Moalboal Tropics

We liked everything about the staff and the hotel. There was a welcoming feel, and we liked the ambience of all the plants trees flora and fauna and other arrangements, above all we liked the cleanliness of the entire hotel the pool is awesome and cleaned daily, Moalboal Tropics is definitely one of the best hotels we stayed in Moalboal and we will definitely be back.

The lights are on all night along the walkway by the room window so they should have blackout curtains because the curtain they have does not block out the light from the room entirely and the bed is by the window.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The ambiance was really really good. Staff were accommodating, very hospitable, always in good mood and smiling. Special mention to Ace, Merrie, Amie and Allan and also Mr. Security guard in the morning (forgot to ask the name) We love the swimming pool. We really had a good time. Temperature was just right. Loved the cocktail The room was clean, bed was really comfortable Wifi was strong. Make sure to connect in the right location. Food was good. We loved our stay! Wish we could stay more! We will sure come back!!

Low pressure of water in the shower Using of stairs to 2nd and 3rd floor (no elevator) - not recommended to those who have small kids and babies Pool timing - we wish that will open at 6am or 7am rather than 9am.

Big spacious rooms, very neat territory with large clean pool and various water activities, the staff was very helpful and polite (among others Allan and Jomary waiters, Jassa the receptionist were very helpful), location is a bit outside main road which provides absence of noice, also no noice inside territory after 10 pm, tasty breakfasts with ability to choose dishes, bar and restaurant available on site (prices same as in the city), big shopping mall and supermarket just 5 min walk. Initially we booked for 3 days, but then prolonged for 2 weeks because our stay was amazing.

It is located quite far from all activities such as bars or massage but if you rent a motorbike or eager to take a taxi ride then it’s ok

Would for sure recommend to everyone! The hotel is really nice, they were just building a new bar when we were there. Pool, room and the whole hotel is very clean. The room was pretty big and eventhough we were next to a small road, it was pretty quite. Breakfast is really great - you can choose from more options. Staff was friendly and for the price - it is really great choice. Will just repeat - I love the pool! (+ you can order food in their restaurant - it is delicious for a great price!)

there was a pool, restaurant, bar and tuk tuks available right outside the place, it was further from the main town area, but still easy to get to and with the facilities we didn’t even need to leave to get dinner or nice drinks. Everyone was really nice and happy to help when we had questions

Pool was fantastic specially for young kids. Had 2 slides and one area for kiddy pool. Staff was outstanding. It’s not a 5 star resort but I would give it an 8 or 9 out of 10 for price to value. I really enjoyed my stay with family.. only downside for me was really off and on internet and to get to the ocean was about a 3-5 minute ride every time.

Lovely pool with slide. Excellent for kids as there are a splash pool for kids. Breakfast was great, and brought to us at our room. Overall great exprience, and highly recommended.Perhaps the shower.

Perhaps the shower. The bathroom was wet all over, but then again, it is an asian thing.

The staff where fantastic and very accommodating for our needs. We also booked a island hoping outing and they were also very accommodating for our group of 9. Food was good with many options for breakfast.

There ownership needs to hire more people. Long waits were caused by not enough personnel. Bartender needs help restocking and needs to inform customers of out of stock drinks.

Stayed here a month and it was great. Pool area is awesome with both kids and adult pools. Wifi was good, staff very helpful.

As business is slow due to covid they have a lot of ‘day’ customers, particularly at weekends who just come to celebrate Filipino style in large family groups. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing day by the pool then forget it. Shower pressure not so good but adequate.

Loved the rooms and staff were very kind and helpful all the time. Loved every second of the stay here. If ever come back to Cebu I'd rather stay here than anywhere else. 😊😊😊

Rooms were little dusty but they'd send housekeeping as soon as you ask. Outdoor areas were spotless so nothing to complain really.
