Quo Vadis is a lovely small resort located towards the end of the Panagsama beach strip. Bonus is the pool and you also have access to the ocean at the front of the resort down a few steps. It should be noted that it’s best to swim in the ocean at high tide.
There were some massive cockroaches in our room - this wasn’t a reflection of the place being dirty but more the fact that there were holes where they could pop in.

Very helpful and engaging staff, especially at the restaurant. The restaurant has a very lovely sea view so, it was very refreshing to eat breakfast at the restaurant. The hotel food is also delicious. Please try the Mango shake! There is also an ATM machine 2 minutes walk from the hotel’s Reception which was very handy. The machine does charge 250PHP per transaction though for international cards. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Panagsama beach, where you can do sardine run and turtle watching.
Although hotel food is delicious, there is very limited options for vegetarians, especially on the breakfast menu. Since the hotel is in the seafront you’ll have to grab a tuktuk or Habbal Habbal to get around the island and to/from the Moalboal bus stop to/from the hotel.

Everything was great. The staff was amazing, particularly Geneva from the snorkeling rentals. They were all kind, smiley and adorable with our son (everyone in the staff remembered his name throughout our entire stay). The facilities are great: excellent swimming pool, snorkeling and diving equipment to hire (and great spots nearby to watch the sea turtles and sardines). The bungalow we stayed in was great, very clean and spacious. The wifi worked great. There is a parking with security for your vehicle. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Moalboal. Thank you very much.

The view of the hotel are amazing. I like the ambience of this place.. It's near to the place where to swim with sardines and turtle. If you want to save the money, you can walk direct there without hiring a boat..Just walk down the street and ask some local..Hiring a boat cost 1,300 per person, direct to the place cost only 400.00.
The bed is not comfortable. The pillow and the blanket is so thin. The restaurant have a good ambience but the food needs improvement.

amazing location….. right next to the dive center and the Beach. they are so professional and helpful. as we are not exceptional swimmers, we were able to snorkel right next to the resort, and we went on the boat with the divers to swim. the hotel has a rustic feel, very exotic location, walking distance to other small restaurants…… I am so used to staying in 5 star resorts, so I was skeptical when I booked but the location, people, service blew me away. Shina at reception was exceptionally helpful.
The rooms are good but beds can’t be compared with say Shangrila ( you get what you pay for) and lights filters through the curtains.

The Staff is awesome and the the opportunity to join the divers for a snorkeling trip is awesome. We did an activity in the morning and then joined the boat in the afternoon to get to famous spots. They provide wet suits as well as there were some jelly fish during our visit. The reef in front of the hotel is also very nice. We saw turtles and a sardine run there. Moreover, the reception helped us with all our activities and transport which was super convenient.
The bathroom could have been cleaner. The rooms are a little bit outdated and the internet is as slow as the water which streams out of the shower. But don’t get me wrong, our stay was great. If your looking for good internet, rural Cebu is anyway not a good destination for you.

Beautiful grounds, refreshing pool, and excellent service. They arranged for our laundry to be done, held our bags after checkout, and even brought an extra blanket for our room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very clean. A/C works great! The included breakfast was delicious, but as mentioned in previous reviews, is rather limited in choice. One of the mornings we stayed here there was a free buffet breakfast which was scrumptious. The hotel is in a very quiet area, only a 10 minute walk from the main strip. As a lovely surprise, we discovered an ATM on site (technically off site, but only 1 step off the resort - in the restaurant next door behind the dive centre).
The only improvement I would recommend is to add a smaller version of the American breakfast to the "included breakfast" menu. Some of us just really love to have eggs & toast in the morning!

Location right on the coral beach. Swim out a little to see the tropical fish. We took our own snorkels. Short walk to a selection of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was only OK but their lunch and evening meals are good and reasonable. Try the ribs.
Would have liked a bigger sandy beach but for a 150 pesos tricycle ride you can go to the lovely White beach. 250 pesos to ride to the shopping area where there is a large supermarket/shop. But not really worth visiting.

Room has good sea view, with good shaded drying line in front of room. Close to dive centre which is well equipped with affordable options for dives and snorkel trips. PADI instructors strict and proper. Restaurant has good sea breeze and view.
Should have bucket in room for easier rinsing of gears and swimming stuff. Stray dogs nearby bark and howl every night. Difficult to get to boat especially when high or low tide. Best if get some transit sampan.

I stayed a full week at the Quo Vadi Dive Resort learning diving in Moalboal. The hotel staff was kind and helpful, the premisses very well maintained. All traces of the typhoon Odette had already disappeared, but some issues.with cellular and wifi connectivity around Moalboal. The bungalow was large and cleaned daily. In addition to fridge minibar, free purified water was available at the reception. I had a great time learning diving with Rene, after my discovery dive with John. I found them accomplished professionnals and excellent teachers. I was also happy with the diving equipment and boat. Following Open Water certification, I had a few good fun dives with DiveMaster Ray, together with local expats used to dive with them on the week-end To wrap it up, Quo Vadis lived up its excellent reputation as a Dive Resort.
I had once breakfast and lunch at the resort restaurant. I enjoyed it more going to next-door Tipolo for their excellent italian and german food, and 5mn away Lantaw for their great philipino/thai/chinese/indian food, all reasonnably priced.
