St Giles Hotel Makati

This is our second stay. We checked in the same dates last 2022, but one day longer this time. We loved our first stay so we decided to choose this hotel again. We loved the fast check in and checkout procedures. We also liked that our room was big enough and has everything we needed and when we needed anything extra like pillows, towels and hangers, it was provided almost immediately. The staff were nice and polite right from the guards, front office, and other people in the lobby to the housekeeping and the restaurant staff… and the breakfast buffet had good options and variety.

The pillows were a bit too thin for our liking so we asked for extra pillows which were given anyway.

Staff are extremely friendly. Location is very convenient. Price is reasonable.

Just the towels are hard and rough.

Location, price, added facilities such as kettle, dryer, toiletries. Front desk personnel - ok. Breakfast - i hope they offer waffles/ pancake too

Cleanliness of the hallway. You could see the bits of tissue paper scattered at hallway carpet for days, seems they do not clean (vacuum) the hallway carpet. There was also a used face mask at elevator lobby floor. Floor hallway is stinking / smelling spoiled food. Please clean the carpet at hallways. Cabinet doors for dresser and ref are loose (please tighten the hinges). Small cockroaches can also be seen at tea table.

Booked 2 rooms for husband's bday. Was not expecting they will upgrade our room with bath tub. They even put us on opposite room with our family members so its near to each other. We're thankful for it. I'm glad seeing my family enjoyed our stay. The staff were responsive and courteous. My card got declined when I booked good thing the booking was confirmed and can pay at the property. Thank you St.Giles. 💜

The AC in our room at first was not too cold, called up and engineering fixed it. Still temperature was not that cold but enough to keep us comfortable. Thank you for the prompt assistance.

We loved that the check in process was fast. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, we slept so well. We informed them beforehand that we were honeymooners and the housekeeping team prepared a cute surprise in our bed. Our bathroom was spacious, had toiletries and hot shower. We requested for extra bath rag which was immediately brought up by housekeeping. The staff were nice especially the staff at the Bayleaf and the guards and bellman. They are the ones we had the most interactions. The food at breakfast had wide selection and really delicious. We loved that the room had its iron and iron board.

The hair drier in our room wasn't working. And we didnt like the carpeted floor but we loved our stay nonetheless.

St Giles is located in the middle of the business area of Makati and well situated to visit all places in Manila area. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful in every way including the staff at breakfast. I recommend this hotel and certainly return for my next stay.

It's is easy to find something to complain about but I really can't think of anything I need to mention. Everything was fine.

I can say one of the best compare to others. Nice people, although they are stress from accommodating people, they still tend to be joyful, very kind and still do their job. They exceeded my expectations compare to common hotel staffs. Facilities are nice. There are still in need of improvements in this area but I can still say that it is nice and decent. In parking, need some improvement because it is small but still okay to me. Talking about its price, I think you get what you pay for. Well compensated. Lastly, the cleanliness, great. the rest like location etc. are quite given depending on the place you want to stay that's all overall its 5/5 for me. Definitely gonna refer this to my friends and to anyone. To St Giles hotel staff and management, keep doing what you are doing, it is so great so nice and hope you guys stay the way you are.

Well base on the price, I think it is enough to say (at least to me) that there are somethings that I can "overlook" because of the price.

I honestly loved everything about this hotel. From when I checked in the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The guys on the door were great too. For me this is the best location in Makati, very short walk to the nightlife and restaurants nearby and about a 20 minute walk to Greenbelt/Glorietta malls. Room was very clean and I had a great view of Makati from my window. The housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning the room daily providing fresh towels and bottled water. One of the best features of the hotel is the rooftop pool and gym which boasts amazing views of Makati and beyond.

The staff, I don't even know how to start commending the exemplary service and how they made me feel while in the hotel. I sure will go again given the opportunity. Location is superb with everything I need around the hotel. Commute or travel wise, can't go wrong with this one.

Breakfast selection needs improvement. I feel they can add more options apart from the usual eggs and hotdogs. Same with the fruit selection which has only 1 option. It also needs to be more kids friendly. The menu was a bit stiff and only adults might appreciate.
