Hop Inn Hotel Ermita Manila

The bed was very comfortable, quite soft which is what I wanted. The room was a reasonable size with a sort of desk/table and chair. There was a safe which was large enough to fit my laptop, and was easy to use. The bathroom had a good mirror and a hairdryer. The shower pressure was good. The wifi was good too. Right next door there is a 7-Eleven, so you can buy breakfast and snacks. The staff were friendly and at check-out they ordered a grab taxi to the airport for me. The journey by taxi from the airport doesn't take too long either, which is a definite plus in Manila. Good value for money.

There weren't many nice cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and not much to do. I walked about 20 minutes to a park. The access to the seafront is approx. 10 minutes walk.

I love that: • The shower has a heater • The toilet has a bidet • There's a vault to store valuables such as important documents and other stuff • The bed is soft, comfy and nice to sleep to • The air conditioner is functioning properly, • There's a card that has a list of television channels • A hair dryer besides the sink • Every cleaning service, they gave us two water bottles. • Wonderful service such as requesting for extra pillows and hot water • There's a convenience store that's really near, so you don't need to walk a few blocks away for you to buy something • A list of contact information is available in case of emergencies • This place is near the SLEC and US Embassy, so you only need to walk for a few minutes

• There should be a [hand] soap dispenser near the faucet sink. • The trash bins should be large instead of small • There's no secure WiFi, so please install a secure WiFi for safe digital transactions and connections (when you have enough budget)

I like the clean facilities and the fact that there is a 7/11 jz beside the lobby. I also love the fact that its located at a not so busy part of M.H. del Pilar and that water is provided everyday, except the last day. I love that there are dispensers for hand sanitizer in the lobby and elevator. I also love the hair dryer in the room even if I didnt use it.

I didnt like the fact that our room was not cleaned the day before we checked out so we didnt have water for the last day. The better way was to clean it and put water even if the sheets were not changed. Also, i wud have liked a soap dispenser near the lavatory so that i would not have to get from the lone dispenser at the shower stall. I wud have loved ironing facilities, rather than the hair dryer and a few cups and spoons, with hot water for drinking.

I like the minimalistic design of the room, so even it it was not as big as the other hotel rooms, it leaves you more space for your luggages and things. It was good value for money, and ir's location is very strategic as ir is near the boulevard, food establishments, malls. The community was also quite silent. I also love the staff, they are always smiling and helpful.

It is not a con, but I hope there is a refrigerator, even a small one.

It was my third time staying in Hop Inn Hotel Malate. I find comfort, budget friendly, front desk and security are accommodating. Location is center to the heart of Manila and accessible.

For Improvement, needs to check on AC I think one of the room in the 7th floor is not functioning well. Also there's a cockroaches the came in the floor sink.

I liked the partial sea view I had from my room. The size and comfort of the bed was also the best. One of the best mattresses I’ve ever slept on in a very long time.

I had an issues with the water temperature of the shower. It was not hot enough. There was also a leak in one of the toilet pipes which lead to an on going water puddle in the bathroom. Wished there was a mini bar fridge too.

The staff is very approachable and kind. Always smiling and greeting the clients all the time. And the place feels safe since your card can only access your room floor. And the location is very accessible.

Not all rooms have a complimentary breakfast.. but 7/11 right outside the hotel is open 24/7 so kinda suffice the lack of it.

The room is tiny so it's perfect for me. There was a table and a chair by the window with a wonderful view. The staff are nice and they were really helpful. The check in and check out process was very smooth. I liked the food, it was delicious.

I didn't like the strong smell in the entire room and in the bathroom. It was hurting my nose and it gave me a headache. I couldn't figure out if it was the sanitizer or whatever. The room is clean too it's just something was very smelly

Nice stay with Ultra clean room, But a hair dryer and ironing board would be a nice addition.

The Reception staffs are standing straight for 8 hours no matter customer comes or not. My humble request to hotel management that they can be provided with a chair (or even stool)

Very Friendly and Professional Staff, The rooms and Lobby area were Spotlessly Clean. The Room was adequate size for me. 7/11 Convince store is open 24hrs and Right next door.

I requested a Fridge , But a Staff Member e-mailed me within an hour and told me that none of the rooms have fridge, but I could use the Main Fridge at the front desk to keep cold drinks.
