Hampton by Hilton Panama

Breakfast was good but needs to be improved, it was almost the same thing everyday. Location was perfect. It was almost in the middle of everything. I loved that there was a big desk in the room if you needed to.work. Very convenient. The room was also very clean, which was a big deal for me. And house keeping did an awesome job. The staff were ever so helpful, kind and friendly. By far, this is the one aspect that stood out!

When we arrived, it was early in the morning, breakfast was still ongoing, the staff informed us to my surprise that we were not eligible for breakfast the morning we landed, that was far from a warm welcome. I wouldve preferred some sort of ventilation, there was absolutely no windows, the air has no way to go. The beds were too small as well for a family room. I wouldve liked a microwave as well. However, apparently thats not even an option at the hotel. The view wasnt good, it was of a relatively old high rise building.

I really liked the view from the rooftop, its really nice and I could take good pictures for social media, definately a good location for people who like tall buildings and nice landscapes all around.

I didnt like the fact that they switched the Included Breakfast from "Self Serve, anything you want from the Menu and any amount" to "This is the only thing we have, whether you like it or not" and small amount, I mean the food was good and all but as a returning guest this boggled me. I even had to buy ANOTHER breakfast because I wasnt satisfied with the "Included" one. This is a point to improve.

The staff is amazing. Everyone in this hotel is really friendly and helpful. The manager is very polite and easily approachable. The reception staff sooo helpful. We forgot our passports in the hotel and only realised it when we reached the next place we were staying - 150 km away. We rung the hotel and they sent the driver to us with the passports. Also the drivers at Hampton by Hilton are lovely. Rigo took us to all day trip around Panama city's sights and went well over the extra mile for us. He took the best photos of us. Thank you everyone at Hampton by Hilton hotel! Keep doing what you doing.

Great price, staff was helpful and friendly, comfortable room, pool was clean.

When I booked it said breakfast included. When we arrived I was told it was a breakfast snack in a plastic baggie that consisted of a small banana, granola bar, a half sized bottle of water and a small orange drink (not juice). I feel like it should say snack included instead of breakfast before you reserve because that is deceptive.

What I didn't like was that when we went to the pool, there was a group of teenagers eating fried chicken in the pool. The pool looked greasy because of that.

The room and location were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am vegan so my breakfast selection was fruit and fruit juices only. The fruit and juices were excellent. The bread/toast alone was not appealing. I don't use dairy milk, so the dry cereal alone was also not appealing.

I didn't like the food selections. It was all meat/fish/chicken based. Putting together a meal, as a vegan, was difficult.

Perfect location to return the rental car to Avis, keep an appointment 2 blocks away and get a good night's sleep. Quick check-in, large room with two beds and comfortable mattress, pleasant gym. Great coffee in the morning!:)

Unfortunately no fridge. :( The packaging waste at breakfast is very noticeable. This does not have to be the case and could be improved. Creativity is needed here!

Room 208 every time you shower it floods the bathroom floor. Breakfast could have better variety. Not enough towels when u first check into a room with two beds.

I came first to the hotel and my husband later he tell front desk he need key to go my room the no asking for Idphoto oh call me let me know a person and the front desk asking for key to go my room ti made sure that right person a give key the not sure he my husband can be not right person for my self security the not do right prosecute

Rooms are really nice and comfortable, and also quiet. There is a hairdryer, iron, ironing board etc, and plenty of desk space if you wanted to work. The pool is small but has a brilliant view (it's on the roof). Staff were really helpful. Breakfast decent.

If you want to get to Casco Antiguo or anywhere else historical you will need a taxi. Ubers are plentiful and cheap however.
