Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Eindhoven

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, waterfall shower head was an unexpected and nice surprise. The bed had a memory foam mattress, it's the first time I've slept in one and it was a game changer! I slept so comfortably and deeply that I didn't want to get out and use the bathroom when I needed to! I had an evening meal in the restaurant, chicken schnitzel which came with salad and chips, I ordered mushroom sauce to go with it, it was delicious. There were quality beers to wash my food down and also a decent selection of spirits.

I have no complaints.

We've stayed here a couple of times now and found it excellent for an overnight or two. Surprisingly quiet with comfy beds/rooms. Well maintained property. The bar / restaurant / lounge areas are open plan and very inviting and comfortable. We ate nearby (several choices) but the bar drinks and breakfast we had at the hotel were all good. The car park is enclosed and locked at night, access via gate with key card. Plenty of parking. Convenient location from the main road networks.

As long as you are looking for an urban / edge of town type hotel there is a lot to like about this Campanile.

Great location, not in the city center but there is a busstop nearby and it takes 15-20 mins to get there. With car its very convenient. If you're looking for a basic but decent play to stay this is for you, clean , you have your own little space, heating is also working if needed , there is hairdryer and towels so all the general necessities. On the side of the building where I was it was very quite as well.

maybe a small fridge would be nice in the room, but not a negative thing.

We stayed here when going to the Belgian Grand Prix. The F1 shuttle leaves from the Park and Ride next to the hotel. The walk to the P&R is very short and felt safe. At the park and ride is also a bus stop to get to and from the airport and city centre. We used the bus to go to Eindhoven city centre and Strijp-S. The bed was big and comfy, although the pillows were a bit small. The television had BBC channels and other Dutch channels showing English programming. The room was clean and the bath room was big with a large walk in shower. Overall, I would stay in this hotel again if I wanted someplace with easy access to the airport and the Park and Ride Meerhoven.

In August, the room was very warm and there was no air conditioning.

Fantastic customer relations. I had lost the adapter to my British plug on my computer cable. Reception did not have a replacement, but called after one hour to say they “found” one. In fact; someone had gone to a computer shop and bought a new adapter. Thank you very much!

The hotel looks a bit dated and basic when you arrive, and there is no food available before 6pm. But the service makes up for it. The restaurant after 6pm was actually very good and the shower in my room was fantastic.

The lighting of the bathroom is iconic! The rooms are very clean. The bed and pillows are comfy and soft. The staff are polite and friendly. There’s a tram stop barely 5 minutes away that goes straight into the city center.

The room could do with a little more light. If you’re on foot, you may find it a teeny bit difficult to find the entrance. Or, I probably was just clumsy:)

The location was great, very convenient for getting the bus from the airport. There are lots of cycleways nearby with access to electric bikes for hire. Staff were very friendly and helped with local recommendations. The bar area was cosy and modern.

There was no A/C in the room, but a small fan was provided. It was a particularly hot day so A/C would have been a nice bonus.

Our room was comfortable and clean, and there is a lift to all floors. The restaurant was convenient for an overnight stop.

Our only problem was reaching the hotel; don't rely on map-reading, you need your sat-nav. The hotel can't be accessed directly from the nearby A2 motorway; you need to get from the motorway onto the N2 collector-road, and then access is easy.

At first glance, the breakfast might look ordinary, but everything I tried was of extraordinarily good quality and taste! (In particular the ham, sausage, cheese, and rolls.) Every single person who worked there was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were tidy and calm. This hotel is exceptionally good for this price class!

We had a particularly bad day on the German motorways and were looking forward to getting out of the car and having a meal in the hotel restaurant as advertised. Notice on reception saying restaurant closed on Sunday. It does NOT mention this in booking.com details. Receptionist very helpful and apologetic.
