Posada Malix Pek

This hotel is a really nice option if you want a nice chill place to relax and take a break from the hustle of Tulum. The pictures don’t do it justice as it is significantly bigger than I imagined. The suite I stayed in is the size of an apartment in a big city. There was also a balcony that faced the street which cause some street noise but also made me feel connected to my surroundings.

The furniture was a tad dated and wasn’t the most comfortable to sit on but the bed was fantastic and that’s all that truly matters

Spacious room, great location near the centre and the bus station, very tasty typical food next door, very clean.

No fridge or drinking water. beds quite soft. Shower curtain missing so the bathroom floor gets wet

Great welcome and able to store our bags ahead of check in. When we did check in we were upgraded to a much bigger room, it was more like a one bed apartment than a hotel room, we even had 2 balconies to relax on.

The water pressure in general wasn't great - and there was a bad smell coming from the drains but staff still cleaned daily

The accommodation was very clean, big sized, with ac and good quality fornitures . The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: safe area, in the city centre, at just 2min walk to the ado bus station and 1 min to the colectivos stop. The reception is open 24h.

The street is a bit noisy during the night

amazing place, very nice staff and lovely accommodation. the breakfast is very good, the location is perfect (only 2 minutes walk from the main square). lots of local shops, restaurants and pubs around. quiet room, spacious, designed and cleaned. great value for money as you can also borrow their bikes.

Very spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed and AC in the bedroom. Wifi worked perfectly. Shower has a good water pressure. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is basic but offers all you need. The place is close to Tulum's main road so you can get around easily. I would definitely recommend.

microwave and electric socket in kitchen didn’t work, but we didn’t need it so it was okay.

Very nice, basic, spacious room with welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. The hot water, water pressure and air conditioning were all fine. There was a really good, multi-speed ceiling fan which you could also use to drown out the tiny amount of street noise. Toilet worked well. Power points next to the bed. As stated in other reviews, the location is great -- near endless restaurants and the ADO bus terminal as well as colectivos that will drop you at the road that leads to the Ruins.

The curtains are not the super-darkening type and the blanket is thin for those who are picky about that.

simple. very good sized room. very clean and serviced immaculately each day. great aircon (very much needed for this pale northern-European traveller). Lovely staff

no safe in the room

It’s located about 10min walk from ADO bus terminal. Beside the hotel are pizzeria, taqueria, few steps are Lavanderia or laundry, pharmacy, Tulum hospital, more restaurants and souvenir shops. What more can you ask for? It’s also a taxi cab ride away from Tulum beaches, Ruines or acheological site, cenotes and so much more. Room is spacious, toilet has hot and cold water for shower. They clean everyday. There’s huge ceiling fan and airconditon unit. Also TV but I am not into TV. Wifi is fast and free. All in all, I am content and satisfied with everything! Checked out happily!
