Seadust Cancun Family Resort - All Inclusive

Good food and drinks! Not super high end but not bad either. Great room with views of the ocean. The over cleanliness of the resort was good though lot of the windows were dirty. The pool was at a great temp and very refreshing since it was hot outside most of the day. Great kids club and water park too!

Wish the concierge desk wasn’t so pushy with pressuring you to join their infinity club.

The stuff was too friendly , the concierge, bell boys to the butlers all friendly and professional. The buffet were mouth watering and the drinks were just flowing i also enjoyed the poolside entertainment. The kiddies were entertained too.

House keeping took too long to stock up our mini bar sometimes went a day without stocking it but after calling they immediately stock it.

We loved our stay, food was good. Our favorite restaurants were the Japanese and steak house. The entertainment team at the pool was very creative and our kids loved participating in the activities. The shows in the theater were also great. Just make sure you bring enough sunblock because it is very expensive if you want to buy it at the hotel. They do not need reservations for the restaurants anymore its first come first serve which is great.

The only thing we didn't like was the elevator had no AC therefore it was very hot in there.

María the barista at the Creperie was friendly, very polite handled stress with a smile despite the fact of having a large cue. Also Fanny from Samurai very pro and frienldy. Staff in general very friendly.

One of the bell boys were in cahoots with the taxi driver that was molesting customers and threatening them not to use Uber in the hotel and at the airport.. Later on, I learnt from a local, the situation between those taxi drivers thugs and Uber. You need to do something because Cancun will loose tourism Taxi drivers appear to be above the law and thatvis utterly unacceptable.

The restaurants are very good, a good variety of food in the buffet restaurant, with lots of choices, although there is little change from day to day you may have a different meal for weeks. There are several good restaurants for dinner also included. Bars are well located and staff is helpful and kind. Kids club is available with activities and fun for the little ones, which also will allow some relaxing time for the parents (my son is 7 and my daughter is 2 and they had a blast). Swimming pools are great, some family friendly and some for Adults only. The small water park is a plus for the hotel. There are several activities throughout the day, for the kids and adults as well, mini-golf, cable riding, video games, dancing/volleyball/kickboxing.. at the swimming pools. Rooms are cleaned to a good level. There are facilities to help your stay (pharmacy, Spa, Coffee shop, Tour booth) Covid precautions are enough in all areas of the hotel. Overall was a very pleasant stay, we most probably will stay here in our next visit to Cancun.

It's hard to find something to complain about on this Hotel, our stay was wonderful. The beach was on red flag (danger to swim) during our stay, but all over the area was the same

Gisselle/MOD has Amazing Customer Service Skills!!!I have been traveling to Cancun for about 25 years and Gisselle/MOD stands out from all the Hotels I stayed!!!Gisselle is superb!!!She works with an exquisite team of wonderful associates that focus on making sure you are having a great time!!! Gisselle goes above and beyond!!! Will be returning in the future. Try the Mexican restaurant!!!Teresa is a great waiter and will treat you like family in the Mexican Restaurant!!!

I had a bad experience with a hostess at the buffet restaurant but Gisselle immediately turnaround to an extraordinary experience!!!

For those needing a break from their toddlers, the hotel has a Baby Club accepting kids as young as 18 months. Other hotels with childcare usually do not accept kids younger than three years old, so this was a great find (our toddler had 2 years and 10 months during our stay). The Baby Club has a special room with air conditioning, with cushions on the floor and toys all around. They also show movies (we usually do not allow our kid too much screen access, but hey, vacacations). There is a small pool area, and an activity area. Typical activities were face painting, building crafts, playing with blocks... You are also provided with the timetable, in case you want to hang around during pool time (which we did on the first days).

The facility had everything we could have wanted - multiple good restaurants. Plenty of activities for kids and families. Very fun karaoke bar. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and very engaging.

The facility isn't the newest or most glamourous.

The hospitality was top notch. Loved that room service was included. I do wish they had more vegetarian options though. The shows they had every evening were excellent! We were sad to miss the last one due to waiting for a table for dinner. Make sure to get there 15 mins early to secure a seat as it fills up quickly.

Needed more variety and less wait times for restaurants. Beds could have been more comfortable. Didn’t have extra blankets for the kids bunk. When I asked for extra blankets they just gave some extra sheets.

The reviews are very misleading. This hotel is fabulous. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday. The balcony had a wonderful view of the bay behind us. We loved the activities at the pool. Plus the drink service was excellent. Food at the buffet was plentiful and fresh. Made it nice for traveling with a young child. I have no complaints.

The sales people in the lobby were pushy the first day but didn't bother us after.
