Cancun Bay Resort - All Inclusive

I admit the resort was very good in terms of the following areas. First, they had two swimming pools, one in the middle of the resort on the ground level. The other swimming pool just outside next to the beach where you can a shallow dip in the Mexican Caribbean. Second, the food selection was good. Every day, there's a variety of meals to choose from. I was very grateful you can convert your US dollars and/or Euros for Mexican pesos. Finally, I like the fact you can take part in activities at the resort, get an affordable back massage, or give yourself a workout at their gym.

The wifi was free but very unstable. I'm sure there was a few activities I miss because I couldn't tell where they were taking place. Also, my privacy sign went missing - no idea what happened to it.

-nice and friendly staff, especially Wilberth at the bar and Rosaria at pool side -good all inclusive offer, generally all meals were great, huge buffet choice, drinks tasty -awesome pool area with bar in the pool and beautiful beach -Oxxo and money exchange point on the other side of the street, I liked the location

-toilet leaking water -cabanas on the beach extra paid -we were one day late due to canceled flights and hotel didn’t agree to move our reservation, so we lost one day, I’m not decreasing rating due to that, but if hotel would be more understandable for sure it would increase overall feeling, they simply didn’t care about our problems and we had a really rough beginning of our vacation

Wonderful place for a family vacation! Excellent location at calm bay with a pool just a few feet away so everyone can be close together and enjoy what they like. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Our beach was the cleanest compared to nearby hotels, seaweeds were cleaned every day but at other hotels, it would get so bad that it stunk if you go down along rue beach. Food choices weren't very wide but everything was tasty.

I would prefer more food variety like fruits not only at the breakfast but at the snack bar, lunch, and dinner.

couldn’t get a drink (even soft drink) until 11am, when the 2 bars opened . apart from juice /tea / coffee in the restaurant. when asked staff were very rude and just shouted closed without looking at us

This was our 2nd time here. We plan to come again as we are pleased with the staff and services and food. Room clean, bed comfortable, annemities in room was stocked daily. Wi-Fi worked very well. We loved that it's a smaller resort and beach area clean/clear but it's in the hotel zone of Cancun and the price is affordable. We'll worth the price!!

I didn't like the high taxi price for transportation to and from airport I wish we could have had cheaper options, like a shuttle or bus.

close to the beach, room was close to the main pool, staff friendly and helpful and resort very clean. enjoyed the surprise foam parties and the swim up bar!

all inclusive didn’t have many options for vegetarians so we had to eat out on some occasions guests talking loudly in echoey corridors made it hard to sleep sometimes

Food was good, all three meals. A bit repetitive, but still fine. Quite a lot of beach activities, evening shows, etc.

Swimming area on the beach is super small and the sea is nor deep enough for a good swim. But we also went to a nearby beach 50 meters away,where it's much better. Pools are good though.

food wasn’t the greatest, very less options for someone who eats vegetarian. they don’t let you make your own plates. they put food for you and you finger point what you need. buffet should be absolutely left to the people to fill plates

The menu at the main restaurant should vary more to provide the customer with a better experience. I definitely suggest to go less Tex and more traditional and modern Mex!

The food was ok, the sushi bar was amazing! The BBQ night also was amazing and tasty. There's 2 pools and private beach. A lot of fish swimming in there so you can just stand and observe them how much time youll like. They are really curious of you too, so they kinda swim near you. Pelicans came to visit as well because of all the easy fish. Theres hammocks inside the water itself so you could relax. Theres super nice waiter who always runs between the beach and the bar and takes care of any thing you ask him for. Really nice guy! Most of the staff were super friendly and nice especially the guys in the bar (Arturo and Lizardo). Great coctails, theres a lot that not on the menu, just ask them they glad to make you a lot of what they know. Victor who was responsible for the special food nights was so nice, made us feel welcome and took care of everything we needed. The room was pretty big, clean and there's mini bar that they refill with drinks and water daily. Tv with a huge variety of channels. Great mexican show at night with dances and songs.

The adults pools with the poolbar and jacuzzi were closed for renovations on our stay which was a real bummer , since one has always games and kids in it and it leaves you only with the one in front of the food court (until the kids come there too), so check if those open before booking if thats important to you. Also since its the only pool theres only like 10 beds there for the entire hotel to swim. Really need to add more at least for the renovation period, because people being rude and put their stuff on the beds reserving them, even when not near the pool. The waiters in the snack bar should learn how to treat costumers and be more attentive. The shower is old and outdated, could be renewed, the most noticeable down side of the room.
