Hotel Hacienda

The hotel has a nice, relaxed Mexican vibe, with friendly and helpful staff and reasonable food. The room and beds we’re comfortable enough. The pool was clean and refreshing. It was close enough to the zocalo to allow easy walking for a nice dinner in town, though we did take a taxi back. We stayed there after a two-week trip around Oaxaca to relax and decompress before flying back to the USA. It was perfect for that purpose. Although we were not traveling with children, it was clear that the children staying there were enjoying the pool.

We have nothing negative to say.

Is nice and quiet place. The Lady on restaurant was very nice.

The man in reception was not very friendly. Someone who don't like his job. We check in on the evening of Sunday May 30. Other than that all was good.

My kids enjoyed the pool every day. It was only closed one evening for cleaning during my 5 night stay. The restaurant was very convenient as well. The housekeepers were great and always did an excellent job. They caught us right as we were leaving to return a shirt we had accidentally left behind.

The location was good but not great as I had to always book two taxis (big family) to get us to el centro. The walk was a good 20 min but with kids it’s not a great walk.

The rooms are spacious, sparking clean, and have very comfortable beds. The gardens are very well maintained, as well as the swimming pool.

Staff could be a more friendly and customer oriented. They called us back in our room 2 minutes after having left the swimming pool with a towel from the pool, same for charging us for a cup of hot water. Food at the restaurant is average / poor (use it only for convenience if you do not want to get out of the hotel)

Lovely friendly and very clean hotel. Rooms are spacious. Beds comfortable. Air con great. Water pressure in shower great which is good for Mexico. I’ve previously stayed right in the centre which is very noisy. This place is quieter. lovely staff. Restaurant handy and nice to be able to get breakfast, drinks etc. menu somewhat limited.

For me the walk into town was great but as I’m was on my own I didn’t trust the walk back at night. Taxis required. Pool nice but you need to get to the pool early afternoon to get a space, I was rarely on time! Restaurant could add a few more modern options and maybe a snack menu.

Large clean swimming pool, the restaurant was open from 8 am to 3 pm. Very comfortable bed, room was kept clean, convenient store across the street so I could get coffee before 8 am. Friendly staff. I felt safe.

When I first arrived both my cell phone and tablet would not connect to the Internet. I mentioned it to a younger man at the restaurant and the problem was fixed. No internet problems for five days

The room was large and comfortable. We had plenty of storage space. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. Breakfast was excellent though the coffee was a bit weak! The pool was refreshing and good opening hours. There were loungers available though there were birthday parties in the afternoon when the area was quite busy. Staff were very helpful at getting taxis, trips etc.

Our room was on the front by the road so it was quite noisy. Try to get a room near the back.

The room is super comfortable including the beds , hot water and free water bottles . Plus you have housekeeping everyday which is perfect in times of COVID and the property in general has a really nice Mexican decoration They have towels for the pool

There are some points I think the hotel could make it better like if there is any issue you need to push the people to following the situation . I understand there is a lot of people but it could be nice if you can have a better costumer service without the need to push . Probably a little inconvenience is the super cold water at the pool so better to swim later in the afternoon and not Inter the morning The fact the hotel said the restaurant is open till 4 pm when in reality they close at 3:30 pm so it could be nice that they change the schedule or they pay more to the people who works in the kitchen. Another big point is the internet ... it doesn’t work well so for a four start hotel you will expect better signal or another router at least

The bed was comfortable, the pool was clean and so was the room. Generally, the staff was super kind and friendly!

The internet was terrible in the room, we were right in front of the pool. This was a real issue because we work from home, which really hindered our ability to work. Also, the lady hostess at the restaurant was not very friendly and a bit rude.
