Beautiful! Location was great. We really liked the historic nature of the room and all the plants and such in the courtyard.
Beds were hard. Biggest disappointment was the WiFi. It was so slow at times we needed to use the Internet cafe down the street instead. Was ok for reading email but not much else. Need to seriously get that speed improved to allow simple streaming like news, etc.

Beautiful, clean room with the comfiest, massive king bed. Best nap ever. Super deep bathtub with a skylight in the bathroom. Grounds were beautiful and staff was very very kind.
Milk for the coffee in the morning please and advise about the need to book parking in advance. Wasn’t ideal to be told they need 20 min headsup for the parking when there is zero street parking nearby

Casa Quetzal is in a nice location on upper Hospicio. There are three coffeeshops close by, all of which have terrific coffee. The bed, sheets, and pillows are excellent and I slept well!! The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The outdoor courtyard spaces are lovely.
While it advertised “free WiFi,” there was no WiFi available in the individual rooms, which was very inconvenient for me. Also, my room was quite dark.

Excellent Location, friendly staff, spacious rooms!
we went during a heavy raining season our room was a bit musty, the cupboards smell strongly of humidity ( if I recall correctly it was 109, the last one on the left). However it is also fair to call out that the room where my mum and niece stayed was perfect, ( the first one to the right of reception, big comfy king size beds and sitting area was great)
