boutique hotel w hosts on site but not intrusive. tastefully furnished and excellent service w two ladies who take care of your need before you even ask. one ran out to get some meds from pharmacy and offered to steam iron outfits for wedding. Host ran out to get soup after GI issues from over celebrations. breakfast included and very well done. you also get access to Rosewood hotel amenities since this is a residence attached to Rosewood

The location was very private and safe. It was easy to walk to the town center while also being far enough away to be quiet. Karla and her team were extremely kind and accommodating during our stay. We would happily stay here again!

Everything, and I mean *everything* surpassed anything I could have hoped for. I originally rented an Airbnb in San Miguel and when I arrived, realized I was in a remote and unsafe area. I didn’t have access to any taxis or taxi numbers, and no Ubers would come to the area. I called Artesana immediately and they arranged a taxi driver to come pick me up safely. The whole team met me at the gate of the Rosewood residences, carried my bags, got me a glass of wine, and while I checked in and chatted with Bill (he and Karla are the incredible owners) the sweet tiny dog Pablo curled right on my lap and fell asleep, offering the perfect antidote to an extraordinarily stressful afternoon. The location is unbeatable, you have access to all of the Rosewood facilities (the villa is on the grounds of the Rosewood hotel) and best of all is the INCREDIBLE job the whole staff does of making you beyond taken care of, at every moment of the day. I can’t emphasize the level of service here, not to mention the stunning accommodations — the rooms are sumptuous and fabulous, and you are in for a treat with the evening turndown service. Breakfast each morning is also exceptional, and they will happily serve it to you on your terrace/in your room if you prefer. Karla, Bill and the whole team created a dream stay for me, especially as a solo (woman) traveler. I could not have felt safer or better taken care of. If you want to be pampered and have truly the best home base in San Miguel, this is the only place to stay. I will absolutely be back year after year.

The owners, Guillermo and Karla, of Artesana Luxury Villas have exceeded our expectations by providing all quality and luxury items. They pay attention to every detail you can think of. From decor, furnishings, linen, daily freshly made food, baked bread, and juices and lit up candles at night. The owners live at the villa so they have bought the best of everything to share with those who stay at their place. The owners are around but never intrusive. There is a sense of space, privacy and safety. We occupied the Rosalind Villa with a private terrace. Yeci and Adri work around the clock to keep the place looking spotless and beautiful. They prepare breakfast ever morning, make daily fresh natural juices like lemonade, hibiscus tea, orange-ade, etc. daily snacks, evening turn down service, and daily housekeeping. Alfonso also was there to help out part of the time. He was so attentive and kind and informative. If you need anything just ask! Karla even called and got us a reservation with the best table on the rooftop terrace at La única! She has connections! Artesana villas is connected to Rosewood Hotel by a side gate. The villas have their own gate and guard 24 hours a day. An added bonus is that people that stay at Artesana get to use all the amenities at Rosewood Hotel, to include daily access to spa amenities, gym, yoga studio, and pool! We loved it here and will return every time. Thank you Guillermo and Karla for treating us like family in your beautiful home.

we had an amazing stay from start to finish. the property and rooms are so comfortable and everything that you might want is provided. The manager was very responsive and the staff go out of the way to make you feel at home. we even had an impromptu mescal tasting/lesson from the owner one night as we came out from dinner on the town. Access to the Rosewood gives you big hotel amenities, but the level of service at the Artesna is much better than the Rosewood. (we stayed at both this trip.)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Artesana! Even though it was a rushed weekend trip for a family wedding. This place was a great place to come to at the end of the day. After spending the day walking in town and going to our families event. The Artesana felt like a home when we returned. Our hosts were very accommodating for anything we needed and was a first class experience. The quality of sleep, probably because the city is very quiet at night, was just amazing!

The was nothing that we didn't like about this place. If there was anything that we did not like, it was that our time at the Artesana was too short. We will be back!

This is an incredible place, absolutely gorgeous. The ambiance, ( fresh flowers everywhere),the decor, the warmth and homey feelings are unreal. The owners / manager Guillermo and Karla are spectacular, extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful suggesting things to do, making reservations, making you feel welcome. The ladies, Adri and Yecy, serving your breakfast, doing your room are great, very respectful, I wish I could have brought them home with me. Even their dogs, Luna an Australian shepherd and Pablo a tiny chihuahua are wonderful. We only stayed 5 days at this marvelous place and wished could have stayed longer. Will definitely return soon with more family and friends. Thank you soo much, Guillermo and Karla.

That we had to come back home. Even if you look for something you will not find it

Karla was an amazing host and made our stay so amazing. This was our 4th time in San Miguel and our favorite stay yet. Karla and her team paid such great attention to detail with housekeeping and turn down service nightly, complete with chocolates! There’s was fresh juice daily outside the room and breakfast down in the common kitchen. The room was also quiet and didn’t hear any commotion at night which was a surprise! Being able to utilize the rosewood amenities was a plus as it’s a beautiful hotel property and grounds. Will be returning to Artesana and can’t recommend it enough!

The location was outstanding. It was an easy, pleasant walk into town and immediately adjacent to the Rosewood Hotel and the facilities available there.

Everything was outstanding. I don't believe it possible to improve without a big jump in price. Friendly staff, great location, use of the Rosewood pool and bars. Fantastic.
