Best Western Hotel Libertà

1. The location - right in the centre. Everything is walking distance - no need to have a car, unless you're driving to the location of the tours (parmesan and balsamic vinegar). 2. The receptionist "Lida" was very welcoming and helpful. 3. Hairdryer is provided. Also several types of pillows were provided. 4. There is a mini fridge in the room. 5. Paid parking in a nearby garage OR get a ticket from the reception for free parking in the blue and white boxes at nearby public parking areas.

It was a little bit difficult to find the hotel the first time, especially when we were driving. So suggest you park somewhere first and get your partner to walk to the hotel to get the parking ticket from the hotel reception - see comment #5 above.

Hotel is extremely well situated in central Modena. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Very central location - all is within easy walking distance. It was easy to find hotel on arrival due to clear directions from Hotel - needed due to the restrictions for cars entering the inner city limits...access is via a certain street only. Parking was possible in the hotel garage which is in same street. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment upon that.

The only comment we would make is that the hotel garage (down the street from the hotel) is very restricted inside as it has many pillars supporting the ceiling/building above, and has only 1 entrance which is also the exit. Our car is a Citroen Berlingo which is larger than average size and parking was quite tight. Nevertheless a great bonus to be able to park there. The car park entrance is open/closed electronically by the Hotel Reception - another bonus.

Great location, very friendly staff, room was spacious and cleaned very well. We really enjoyed our stay here. Great WiFi. I would recommend it.

Bathroom was small and have to angle to sit on the toilet. The only other thing I would have appreciated would be a real fridge. There was a drinks cooler for the mini bar but no fridge for groceries for a family. Those cooler fridges are not cold enough for milk etc.

Great location, generous size room, air con, tea/coffee, fridge and close to shops, cafe’s, bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful, especially assisting us with navigating our way to the hotel and hotel garage (€30/night).

The property is great, just a bit of a nightmare to reach in a car, the Modena one way system vs Google maps.

The hotel is right in the centre of things, but also not a far walk from the train station. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The price very reasonable.

the door to the shower barely fit, so water flooded the bathroom every time I took a shower. The TV only gets Italian stations, so no big international news channels.

Excellent staff- so helpful suggesting restaurants and calling taxis for us. Pricey breakfast @15 Euro. Better options available. Cleaning staff also amazing.

Need more space for clothing (drawers).

In particular I found the electric kettle very useful. Good amenities - plenty of places to put suitcases.

Good breakfast but would have preferred buffet service. We are used to a key card instead of having to ask for the key when returning to hotel although the staff were very friendly and the reception gave a good service and were very helpful.

Great location in beautiful city centre of Modena, very friendly staff.

Room on the smaller side. Neighbour was very noisy one if the nights.

I hade a nice single room with a queen size bed. The room was clean and the staff very nice. The location of the hotel is superb.

The bathroom is pretty small

Good hotel located in the nice historic center of Modena. with many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Comfortable rooms with good beds and low noise airco. We had an enjoyable stay.
