Hotel Baia Di Puolo

The hotel is right on the beach in Marina di Puolo but relatively secluded, as Puolo is quite downhill from the main road. The transport from and to the parking and the nearest bus station is assured by the hotel for free with a small car (which is suitable for the very narrow road connecting Puolo to the main road). The breakfast is served on the terrace of a cosy restaurant next door, which is almost on the beach - absolutely wonderful. The room has a nice balcony with seaview, air conditioning, a fridge and a safe box and is very clean. The reception is very nicely decorated with sea motives and the staff is very friendly. Also included in the price of the room are sun beds and an umbrella on the beach just in front of the hotel. They can book day trips by boat for Capri or Amalfi&Positano. All in all, good value for the money.

The staff is cordial and prestative. It is pratically a “foot sand hotel” with your own private beach. The room is clean. Bed is comfortable. The bathroom have a decent shower, although it have a small box .

The hotel is a little bit far away from the bus station which conects to Sorrento’s city center. There is a car service that takes you to the bus station. The problem is that you must have a cell phone that makes regional calls to the hotel to pick you up. You can increase the temperature of the air conditioner. The breakfast is a little poor of options and there is some loud noise in the hotel.

Nice hotel where to stay some days for relaxing and swimming. Beach is 10m from hotel entrance. Good restaurants nearby. Car should be parked on different level - but don't worry, hotel provide very good "shuttle" service from parking to hotel and back. If needed, parking is also accessible by foot (10-15 min walking), but for luggage better is to use this "shuttle" service. Approximate coordinates of this parking is 40.62824, 14.34978

The location is excellent, next to the beach. The pin on Google Maps is wrong, causing some communication issues prior to our arrival. There's an area where you can park the car, between olive trees, while heading down towards the hotel. You'll have to ask for transportation from there, cause it's quite a steep hill. The hotel has its private beach, with sunbeds included. Breakfast was Italian, not too bad, not amazing.

The rooms with the inner courtyard view are a bit dark, not much natural light coming in. Furniture is a bit beaten by time. The shower cabin is the smallest I've ever experienced, probably 60x60cm - it's a must to be expanded with the next renovation.

The hotel is right at the beach sunbeds are provided by the hotel (no extra fees) breakfast is served at a taverna right by the hotel entrance with a fantastic view a bit more than you would expect from a traditional italian breakfast

the water temperature in the shower kept switching from cold to hot randomly the dinner at hotel's taverna was not better value for money compared to other tavernas close by that's about it...

Very helpful staff at from desk. Made to feel welcome by all the staff (beach side, restaurant, shuttle taxi). Excursion into Amalfi is hot, busy and tiring, so it's nice to come back to a relaxed beachside hotel, which is set in a small bay. It feels like a family friendly oasis here. Restaurant half board meals at dinner very reasonable (and tasty). Some things on the a la carte are exceptional (tuna tartare). Overall exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful little corner of Italy. Would recommend and would love to come back.

This won't be an issue for most people and it's barely an issue in the grand scheme of things: Small cups of tea for breakfast (not sure why they half-filled the individual teapots). The cappuccinos looked amazing, but I can't do without a decent mug of tea in the morning.

Great location, outside of Sorrento, pretty little resort with a few restaurants. Hotel was much better than expected, large comfortable room, very clean. Hotel staff very helpful. Shuttle (small car or golf buggy) provided up to car park or bus stop with frequent buses into Sorrento.

Breakfast was pretty basic and service at the restaurant attached to the hotel wasn’t great, very slow

Closeness to the beach. You literally walk out and you have a private beach right there that fits about 50 people. The helpfulness of the staff. The shuttle bus efficiency

This isn’t the properties fault, but the lack of facilities nearby. There’s just 4/5 restaurants and that’s it. It would be great to have a mini market instead of a restaurant.

It is absolutely amazing how this property manages to be right in the center of very touristy area in Sorrento but be right on the beach, have comfortable rooms for any size of family, wonderful restaurant with delicious food, and even provide parking and shuttles to drive customers up to the Sorrento roads. It is very close to Sorrento port and Bagni Regina Giovanna. Bravo!

It was just perfect, we couldn't ask for more. Rooms very nice and clean, location very perfect just off the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and breakfast was good as well, always fresh. Restaurant of the hotel is very good, we ate there all evenings as it was very good value and good quality food. The owner and staff are very friendly.
