Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino

The location was the area around the airport, as expected it was tricky to get to but having an updated GPS made that fine. Parking the car before you check in was the trickiest. But afterwards we got into the gate for parking, this parking area did not hold a lot of cars though. But it was really nice if you got one. The rooms were super nice, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was much much better than ever expected. Delicious fresh croissants from nearby bakery. Fruit, yogurt...and of course, those delicious Italian cappuccinos, thanks to the great girl that ran the breakfast room!)

The door didn't seem to close well, and we weren't accustomed to the keycard needing to be put right away into the wall slot inside the door...otherwise the room lights go out. But figured it out quickly. And it is the smallest shower we've ever been in, but it served the purpose:)

We stayed for one night. The room was great. The bed was comfortable. We had a really early flight and the front desk arranged a taxi for us to leave at 4:00 am. The taxi cost money, but I am so grateful that the hotel arranged the taxi. We didn't have breakfast because we left so early. The night before we left, we walked down to the beach. It is a nice area. There is a grocery store that is a half-a-block from the hotel.

I would have appreciated being informed up front that the 4:00 AM taxi would cost additional money. I assumed that it would, but the person at the front desk could have been up front and let us know. We would have still paid for it.

amazing location, you can take a free but to the airport (bus stop is like 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel). Amazing European style breakfast with nice coffee (not like freshly brewed one! they prepare a cappuccino/latte/Americano with a fancy coffee machine for every customer)

no kettle in the room so if you want a cup of coffee or just a cup of hot water you need to ask it at the reception area. they advertise a shuttle bus but it turns out not free of charge (bus driver told us the price is 7 euro per person and we need to pay at the reception and hotel personnel told us that prise is 10 euro per person when THERE IS A FREE BIG REGULAR BUS to and from the airport in very close proximity to the hotel!)

The room was very clean. There was a spacious terrace on the balcony but you couldn’t see a view because it was surrounded with a tarp for balconies. Perhaps because the view was backyards of other housings. It made it intimate. We asked for a wake up call for 3:00 am so, didn’t have time for breakfast. It is actually a Comfort Inn Not a Hotel, so maybe, that made it a bit pricey.

Expecting it to be a hotel and when I saw it was a Comfort Inn, I was expecting more but still very satisfied with my very short stay. super clean, welcoming, very helpful for finding a taxi for 3:00 am and nice.

A true comfy overnight stay near Rome Airport It was an unplanned booking after sudden change of our travel plan. We are pleased to have chosen this hotel. It is very close to the airport by car in a local residential area. There are many restaurants within walking distance, A big supermarket is almost next door. Walking along the river near by in the morning and evening is quite enjoyable. The hotel has an elegant clsssical style decoration. The room is quite big with all the facilities needed. The staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially Robert (my spelling might not be accurate) at the front desk who helped us before check-in, provided us with useful local information and booked a taxi for our departure. We were even allowed to stay in the hotel waiting room after our checkout until late afternoon to accommodate our departure time. This is a truly lovely hotel to stay in before your departure from Rome.

The shower screen door can be improved.

- Very close to FCO airport so is a very good choice for transiting travelers. and overnight passengers. - Clean & organized hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. specially the lady who was taking the evening shift from after noon till 23:00. on January 10th. I don’t remember her name but she is amazing & very helpful. she helped me to go to Roma Centro back & forth from Fiumicino by paying less than 6€ !! :D also the night shifter came himself to knock my door because the wake up call didn’t go through. I am so happy with the staff members I met.

The air conditioner wasn’t working in the hotel. and the reason was, we are in the winter. but It makes sense. because I’ve heard that a lot of hotels in Italy doing this. but still I am so happy with the hotel. and this is not a big deal :)

The owner and hotel staff are very helpful and professional. Check in is fast and the hotel is very nice and clean with all amenities. The bed is very comfortable. The room is quiet.

Nothing to say, expectations were fulfilled.

I booked this room for one night for easy access to the airport. Unfortunately we were not able to fly out on our expected departure date after arriving at the airport. I was able to get back to the Hotel and ask if we could have the room back until 11:00. However, it appeared we would not get out that day so I booked for an additional night and they honored the Booking.com rate. The staff were wonderful, both evening and early morning.

Actually nothing. I was very pleased with this hotel, and would book it again.

This hotel is excellent for a quick (or day) layover. The hotel is about 10 minutes away--15 with traffic. There are many options for great restaurants in the fiumicino area without having to go into Rome. There is some construction that made leaving the area to go to Rome tedious, to say the least. All in all, the location is great for a layover and early flights. The hotel is easy to find, and plenty of area parking. The room was clean, spacious and efficient. Do not miss breakfast! The fresh coffee and full Italian breakfast will keep you filled up.

There is a cost assoicated with the airport shuttle. That was not clear in the hotel description. BUT the shuttle was on time and scheduled to my flights.

Overnight stay at a hotel close to airport. Quiet and comfortable. Few restaurants around close to hotel for dinner.

Taxi was offered to book for us at 6am the next day. A car arrived not a taxi with a set fee of 20 euros. This should have been told to us that it was not an actual taxi but a transfer vehicle with a set fee cost. Why did they not tell us it was not a metered taxi. Disappointing at the cost of a 5 minute ride.
