Everything was good. Check in was quick and seamless. Room was as requested in quiet area of the Hotel. It was clean spacious. Bar was spacious, warm, clean and food was excellent. Lots of very attentive staff and great atmosphere. Breakfast was very good with lots of Hot / Cold choices

The heating was not working properly in the room and although the room was warm, we'd like to have been warmer. It was like the radiator had an air lock problem. I phoned reception and they offered to "Boost" the heat from their controls, but no difference. Duvets were big and comfortable, so we slept OK.

I liked all about the hotel. Except for one member of staff.

I met a member of staff at lift when we tried to get into lift , she was very abrupt and told us the lift was going up and press the button to close the door. I worked in a hotel for 14 years and was managing rooms and lodges there. Our policy was to be polite to customers and allow them to take the lift ahead of us if there was no room. Although there was only one member of staff in lift and plenty of room for us. Also she was on her phone during her working hours. This doesn't look good .

Everything went well because the staff are very efficient and friendly especially Caitlin on reception who answered any question we asked her but the staff on day or night duty are very professional in every way and they helped to make our stay in Dublin wonderful

Beverage prices are too expensive to spend an evening in the bar so we went to bars in Clondalkin which are a little bit cheaper but these days most European cities are expensive for eating and drinking so it makes you explore a city more which can make a holiday even better

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Maldron Hotel, Newlands Cross with our family. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. The room was spacious and the cleaning service was excellent.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the city center, so it takes about 45 minutes by bus or train to get there. also, even a small fridge at the room would be nice.

Great staff assistance and generally pleasant demeanour. Car park was difficult at times, especially as the parking ticket had to be validated at reception every time you drive out.

Car park arrangements for ticket validation. We were in a room close to a staff room. From 5am onwards staff would allow the door to their room to bang noisily, waking us up. This also happened around midnight.

The girl on reception desk upon check-in was lovely & Sasha upon check-out was super friendly. Michelle in the bar was super friendly & helpful & sooo kind. Alfredo in the restaurant was exceptional. Super duper friendly. My 3 kidz (9,9,7) absolutely loved him. The Manager of the morning restaurant was soo nice. The morning restaurant is exceptional & extremely well laid out & very functional. Very impressive Overall staff that we had dealings with, couldn’t do enough to be helpful

Corridors were slightly cold & so was our hotel room upon enter but soon warmed up.

Wonderful stay at the Maldron, staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Hotel is very clean and neat, a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There are 2 bus stops located within 500m where you can catch a but into the city, and with the visitor leap card that we purchased it was much cheaper than using a taxi.

The only 2 minor inconveniences that we experienced was that the safe was not working in our room and room service was not available every day and you had to remember to request your room to be cleaned at the front desk, I am not sure if this is part of their Covid protocols or not.

It is not a luxury hotel, it is not a brand new building, but we were extremely well treated and the hotel really suited the needs we had for our two day stay. Big family room, nice toilet, parking for the rented car, easy and quick access to the motorways. I would like to praise, in particular, Ramona and her colleague Caitlin from the reception desk, who were extremely nice and helpful, make us feel really welcomed.

We booked a triple room and it was very big with an extra sofa bed. Room was spacious, clean bathroom. Our window was facing the busy Naas road, you would expect it would be noisy but we never heard anything (great windows!). The location is not central to Dublin but you can catch the Luas from Red Cow - and also park there - and it is very convenient. I'll definitely book there again if I stay in Dublin

Breakfast was a bit pricey so we didn't add it. And not much to do around the hotel. But that did not affect out stay at all
