We were very satisfied with the accommodation. It has a central location, great restaurants, and a 24-hour grocery store nearby. It is situated roughly in the middle of the suspension railway track, allowing quick access in both directions. Additionally, the accommodation fee includes a regional public transportation ticket (excluding IC), which enabled us to use the suspension railway and train to Düsseldorf Airport. The bed was super comfortable, we were able to sleep very well. The overall atmosphere of the accommodation was calm and pleasant. The accommodation is close to a transportation hub and a bus terminal, but with closed windows, you cannot hear them at all, plus the air conditioning works perfectly.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, charming, generous, and friendly. They provided fruit daily in the lobby as well as fresh water. A special touch... while I was there, it was my birthday. This staff surprised me with a bottle of wine and a birthday card! It was such a special delight! I travel often and this was super special. Everyone was wonderful! Cannot wait to stay at another Flemings Hotel!! Extra note: I made the reservation at the very last moment. I arrived where I had booked (1/2 block away) and the AC had not worked for several days. I cancelled and found Flemings on booking. Same Price. Room Twice as Big, modern and airy. They also gave a card for free bus and train travel!

Everything and everyone was amazing!

We loved the location of this hotel and the fact that they provided us a citycard which allows you to use public transport in the large region around Wuppertal. We even used it for our day trip to Dusseldorf. Most staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! We can also recommend ordering a lunch box for 12 EUR per person, but ask to allow you to fill it yourself from the buffet if possible. We enjoyed the comfort plus room.

We had booked 2 nights via booking.com and then wanted to add 1 additional night and stay in the same room. The pricing for the extra night was not transparent though. We had agreed to 120 EUR including tax, but then later an additional 10 EUR city tax was added (from our perspective also tax). We finally received 3 invoices for this 1 additional night (1 of 120, 1 of 132 and 1 of 142 EUR!).

Location was right next to the bus, train, and schwebebahn. Bed and shower were both comfortable. Heating in winter was perfect. Tea and coffee in room was appreciated. The Transport ticket included with the room was perfect and very useful for sightseeing the wider area. Staff were helpful.

Location meant constant traffic noise even at night (even from the 4th floor). Breakfast was too expensive (27 Euro each) so we did not try it. Paper cups in room for coffee were too hot to hold. Real mugs would be better. A paper map showing locations for using the transport ticket would be helpful.

Hotel Flemings has great staff and a very good breakfast, especially if you like muesli. The muesli bar is very good! Our room was well designed and comfortable. The hotel’s small gym is well equipped and the sauna is hot! We were very pleased to be provided with local transport tickets free of charge.

The location of the hotel means that many rooms seem to have a lot of noise from the local bus station, the train line and/or the busy roads. It’s an excellent central location but it isn’t possible to sleep with the windows open.

The location of the hotel is very good for those who come on business, as it is near the railway and bus stations, it is very convenient to get to Düsseldorf. Noise isolation in the rooms is good. Most of all I liked the breakfasts - a very large selection of yoghurts, fruits, nuts, cheeses.

But there were difficulties with the booking - our flight to Dusseldorf was postponed a day later, and despite the fact that I warned the hotel administration that we would arrive anyway, our booking was canceled. We had to ask for a long time to leave the rooms for us.

Hotel style & concept is amazing, Self check in and no check out make things easier, Super nice staff and small details that make the stay great (for example city pass, fruit or "sleep well package") Location is perfect It has parking at reasonable price... ...For sure our option for any future visit to Wuppertal

If the day is sunny and the room is facing the bus station, then the afternoon can be unbearable inside the room even when it is equipped with airco. The wifi is not great, and there are problems to connect with laptops

We used the hotel on the occasion of our stay at the Essen trade fair. Very good location next to the main station. Comfortable bed, possibility to set cooling or heating via air conditioning. In-room coffee and tea making facilities. Very tasty breakfasts, large selection of various dishes. Interesting and rarely seen by us so far at breakfast in hotels - a teapot, where you can make a lot of tea at once instead of walking several times with a mug to get a refill, and Belgian chocolate spread portioned in cups so there was order and hygiene instead of a situation where everyone takes from one jar. The room was quiet despite the noise outside (busy street) - good soundproofed windows.

Overall everything was great comfortable beds, well-equipped bathroom and some small additions such as a kettle along with the tea and coffee set. The room was extraordinary furnished leaving us completely amazed. Perfect location for the train travellers - right next to the main station

The only downside to point out is that the main entrance to the hotel is located by the path above the road and sometimes it gets really annoying while getting to the hotel making us take a longer route

We spent only one night there but would have enjoyed a longer stay. The hotel rooms had been renovated just four years ago and were spotless. The bed was very comfortable and, although the hotel was directly between the main train station and the city centre (downtown), the room on the fifth floor was very quiet The receptionist was very helpful and courteous.

We spent €20 for our dog for the night. The room had a carpet floor - inappropriate for dogs. One night later, in a different hotel in Wiesbaden, we spent €10 for the dog and got a room with a tiled floor and (extra for dogs) a terrace - very appropriate for dogs.
