B&B Hotel Wuppertal

They were happy to accommodate me, even though I arrived about 2 hours earlier and I did not have to wait in the lobby, nor outside. The hotel is however placed very well, close to a big shopping mall and not so far from the HBF and the center.

I needed to spend 2 days somewhere, so I chose Wuppertal. I knew that I will stay in hotel almost the whole day, while doing some "home office" I wanted to have a room with view of the Schwebebahn, unfortunately i got a small window with the view of the parking lot. These rooms are only 20% of all the rooms. I did not complain though as I did not want to be moving rooms.

Very happy with the stay. The location is great, easy access to the city, the view out of our window was the famous Wuppertal suspended monorail. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were soft and cozy. The hotel was very quite even though the train passed by our window every few minutes. The shower is great, very warm water and very clean. There were also great drapes which made it very dark in the room (great for tired travelers who want to rest during daytime). The staff were nice and helpful as well.

There was one minor thing - there were a few stains on the bedding, nothing crazy, I guess it was permanent, but could have been replaced. Other than that great.

The hotel was in a good position with good parking. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. My only wish was that I would have liked a room overlooking the Schwebebahn. I looked over the car park.

Breakfast was very expensive with not a huge selection. Even scrambled eggs were not offered. But the horror was the swarm of fruit flies that rose from the fruit basket when I lifted the cover to choose a banana. Not at all pleasant.

Very helpful desk staff, clean room, good buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money!

Some cups/glasses in the room would have been good. (Staff provided these when requested so not an issue).

The hotel is situated at the foot of Schwebebahn. From the main railway station, you can walk for around 10 minutes. The staff was very helpful. Check-in goes excellent in a few minutes. The room is standard for short overnight stays. It was extra clean and tight. Breakfast is good and each can find something that suits him. For sure I will come back.

Big, clean room. Nice bathroom, fast running and hot water. Nice area to go for a morning walk with my dog. Warm welcome late at night. Free cancellation option until late same evening gives great flexibility.

Rooms have everything you need. It was clean, but bathroom had quite a smell. After turning on the lights, and ventilation, it would be good, but when entering the room after whole day, it can be a bit unpleasant. Room was like on pictures, hotwl very close to public transport and Lidl was also nearby.

The smell in the bathroom was unpleasant. And for the price of 9eur, the breakfast should be a bit richer - better coffee, more bagels, better juice.

Bed were really comfy, room was spacious and with a little table. The bathroom was nice. Many rooms have views on the Schwebebahn. One of the best soundproofing in a room that I ever witnessed! Staff was friendly! And breakfast was good

A bit of dust and spiders web (our room was next to the neon sign, so lots of insects and spiders there, may be different in other rooms) The room is a bit empty and the lightning is a bit off to feel really cosy.

Close to the city center. Very clean and comfortable. A significant benefit is the free parking. No fridge but this is not a problem since the hotel is meant and is a perfect choice for a short stay.

If you arrive late, there is a big chance the parking to be fully occupied. Everything else was perfect.

Location is great. Comfort is also great. We are used with B&B's in Germany. Great value for money.

Difficult check-in due to a soft error and the parking door electronic locker broke. Door always open, day and night. We were also surprised on how poor options we had for breakfast. We've found better options in other B&B's.
