Hotel Oranien Wiesbaden

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very attentive. Lovely fresh selections. This hotel is 5 star in my book. There was plenty of parking in a gated lot. Restaurants and nightlife is a short walk away. Rental scooters are around town and an easy way to move about town. We found a couple right outside the hotel on the street. Attention to detail and customer service were top notch at the hotel. We didn’t realize the on-site restaurant was Michelin rated and unfortunately had reservations elsewhere. There’s also lovekey alfresco dining or a nice place to grab an appetizer or drink. We were kicking ourselves and wished we hadn’t missed out -the menu looked amazing. After traveling in Europe for 10 days this was our last stop. What an elegant, clean comfortable and classy hotel. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy an evening cocktail or take your breakfast outside to eat in the morning. It had almost a spa like atmosphere. The rooms were extremely spacious, bed was comfortable, bathrooms were modern and updated- air conditioning was incredible. We had a lovely fruit plate in our room and a welcome letter! Class act!

I really can’t say anything negative about our stay. We had some difficulty getting into the parking lot of the hotel due to traffic. But certainly not their fault. Google maps took us a challenging path to get there. Pack your patience if your a arriving in the evening - and be aggressive to cross traffic to get in the parking lot.

The breakfast offered an array of breads, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, juices and coffee, in addition to eggs however you would like them. I had a perfect soft boiled egg (reminded me of how my mother made them!), and my husband thought his omelette was one of the best he’s had. We ate our breakfast on the lovely terrace, which was delightful. We arrived at the hotel very late—way past midnight—due to delays at Frankfurt airport, so we were very tired. The kind night clerk had us checked in and settled quickly. The relief of seeing an elevator was immense as our room was on the third floor! After 5 or 6 hrs of solid sleep—the bed was so cozy—we revived ourselves with a shower in the well-appointed bathroom, and made our way to breakfast. We wish we had a longer stay, yet even briefly, the Hotel Oranien Wiesbaden worked its magic on us, replacing exhausted frustration with a calm peace.

We were so tired, driving at night in an unfamiliar rental car with a German GPS, we had a little difficulty finding the hotel. But when we did it was like a beacon! We also appreciated the parking on the hotel property for a reasonable rate. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Truly, the only thing we didn’t like was not being able to stay longer!

This hotel was a great value and very quiet considering it's within walking distance to the Wiesbaden city center. On-site parking (for a fee) was an added benefit as we were traveling by car. Our room was large by European standards and very comfortable. The included breakfasts were excellent. They have a nice outdoor terrace and gardens where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room decor was slightly outdated but not bad

Committed and helpful staff (reception and kitchen), classic/elegant vibe, quiet location, 10 minutes on foot to town, good room under every aspect (comfortable beds, nice interior, everything working...). Would probably stay there again.

Vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers..) at the breakfast menu would have been nice, maybe some vegan options as well. Room sound isolation might be a bit better (the neighbours shower could be heard very well). Generally I never see recycling bins in hotels, which was also the case with this one. Maybe they exist, but then the guest should be informed of them.

The staff were very helpful and friendly; the room was large and comfortable; large comfortable king size mattress, small fold-out couch, chair, coffee table, and desk; bathroom was private and designed well; breakfast was very good; coffee excellent! The location was perfect and we could walk easily into center city to restaurants and shopping. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Wiesbaden.

Location. Character building. Excellent air con, double glazing sound proofing. Excellent bed, bathroom facilities. Gym. All in all very comfortable and decent value.

Only gripe was our room maid. Shower soap dispenser empty. Didn’t clear away dirty plates. Didn’t replace water.

We have enjoyed our stay in the hotel from the start till the end. Staff was extremely nice, accommodating and very helpful. Rooms were quiet and spacious. Hotel is located very centrally so you can walk anywhere. We have enjoyed lovely breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The bar selection was interesting and you could sit in a lovely hotels garden to enjoy a drink.

The Restaurant was overpriced and way overrated. We eat there once and were disappointed , especially given it was recommended by front desk clerk as the best place to eat..

Best hotel in Wiesbaden hands down, super clean, nice, comfortable rooms. The gentleman at the reception who was always calling our cabs was super helpful and nice. The only slight negative was the wifi but it can be overlooked.

Exceptional Hotel in Wiesbaden. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is also very attentive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Wiesbaden and I will absolutely return during my next trip.
