Mercure Hotel Wiesbaden City

I would like to give our special thanks to the receptionist Roy Blackwin (Mercure City Wiesbaden). We arrived after having car problems. Roy took real care of us and made us feel home, since we were destined to stay longer. In no time, Roy knew our names. Also, even, after checkout, Roy gave our 3 children towels and a card, so they were able to swim the whole day while we were waiting for a replacement car. The breakfast was excellent. Your staff took the effort to make up a table for us, outside. Also the lobby was nice and welcome. Thank you so much, Floor Onland.

The food at the restaurant was amazing. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and sauna. The lobby is cozy and huge, small children can run around while you have a coffee. The rooms are an average hotel rooms, nothing spectacular or luxury so to say, even-though when you enter the hotel it gives you different impression. The staff is super super friendly. It's in the center of Wiesbaden, almost everything is at 5-10min max walking distance. Underground parking, a bit pricey though (18EUR per day).

The cleanness under the room beds - collected dust with a long history....

I am a fan of Mercure hotels and a member of their chain. I like the way they are. This one had a good location, cheaper parking for members and very kind receptionist (in the evening). We had 2 big beds 140x200 and one more extra bed to accomodate all family members.

Ladies who were checking us out in the morning were super- super slow.... And, a cleaning lady decided to barge inside my room at 8a:30am because, you see, one member of our family left for work early and left others sleeping, and she "decided" it is time to clean our room- she should have checked that there is a full family registered to the room.

The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The room is lovely cosy and modern. The location is perfectly in the center of Wiesbaden. The interior of lobby is well designed with modern furniture and courtyard - it's my favorite part of the experience, the atmosphere like lovely home.

The drainage system in the bath room could be improved. It is recommended to completely close the bathtub with the glass door, otherwise water will easily splash outside during the shower.

The property was clean, modern, and in a good location.

After putting in a request for a baby crib and also confirming prior to arrival that we would have a crib in the room there was still not a crib. I asked someone at the front desk who told me that they did not have any. I did ask again and the request was put in for a crib, but it did take several asks. I specified in my reservation that our party would consist of one adult and 3 children with the special request. Also, I traveled alone with my three children. The woman who we checked in with for breakfast kept asking me if I wanted to pay for my husband to eat breakfast as well. My husband was not present for our stay and I indicated that it was just me when she asked how many adults would be eating breakfast.

Very large spacious room with a seating and desk area. Very much appreciated that the items in the bar fridge were all complimentary. Easy access to supermarket and a couple of good restaurants in the same block and only a 7 - 8 min walk to the town square. Unfortunately did not have a chance to use pool which was purpose for booking hotel.

Would have appreciated a kettle to make a cup of tea.

I have been staying in this hotel once a year for the last few years. I love the rooms, the location and the friendly staff and it is reasonably priced for what you get.

I mentioned this before: little wooden sticks to stir your coffee in your room. In a 4 star hotel - really?

We went to have a relax time in the pool, our room was really small but comfortable enough, we had everything we needed, a nice shower a little fridge and the pool and specially the SAUNA was amazing, fully recommended!

breakfast price, breakfast is nice, but the price could be a little cheaper.

Sauna was good even it is small... (*guest can wear swimming suit^^;) and everywhere, everything was so clean... and bed was so comfortable~ that's good point.. but the room size and swimming pool size was smaller than my thought (by picture).. but many review said it is quiet big as city hotel; then~ I can understand too~ so it was good^-^ and my kids(7,5yrs) were so happy!

Great location in the center of the city. Room was ok. Service at the lobby bar was very good throughout the morning and day.

I had a room facing the inner courtyard, which got a bit noisy late in the evening as hotel guests were sitting outside having drinks. Showering left the bathroom floor very wet, the glass wall on the bathtub was clearly not watertight.
