Hotel Kaiserin Augusta

The room was well furnished and fully functional. The city center is easily reachable by bus or even by walking. The hotel has a good restaurant with reasonable prices.

There was no air conditioning in the room. I suppose that the room can be very hot in summer, however we did not have this problem. We arrived late in the night, and the person at the reception spoke rather limited English, so we had some problems in communicating. The following days we had no such problem, however.

The hotel is located very conveniently next to the railway station. The vicinity of my room was very quiet, allowing one to vent the room at night. The reception staff are friendly, some very much so. Room prices appear to be relatively stable, perhaps my trip didn't fall into a very busy period though.

The cleaning staff had no command of either German or English to the degree that I could communicate with them (I didn't speak their language)

it was a quite old facility, but it was quite clean. Hotel attendants was very kind. I asked to take my luggage during my city tour. They have a room that I can keep my luggage safely. That was quite comfortable. If I visit weimar again, I will visit your hotel again. thank you so much.

The room was quite cold even if it was May. I think if you want to visit there in winter, it will be very cold in the room. But I was alright.

The perfect location for our 4 night stay : a short 8 minute walk to the inner city (Altstadt) and the train station (Hauptbahnhof) straight opposite our hotel, from where we caught the train to Erfurt. We loved our 3rd floor room; it was spacious and had great views from both windows. The bathroom was small but everything was spotlessly clean. We were happy to have a firm mattress. The staff were friendly and very obliging, initially on the phone when I requested a room with a fridge and on arrival at check in and check out. We didn't partake in breakfast/dinner on site so cannot comment on food or staff. The breakfast buffet did look good though. All round a wonderful experience and would book here again.

Some guests may find the proximity to the train station an issue, noise-wise. We had no problems but did close our windows at night to avoid any late night suitcases-on-cobblestones noises.

So convenient, close to train station. Nice, friendly & helpful staff. Being able to enjoy our breakfast outdoors was an added treat.

No air conditioning in the bedrooms. The temperature was 34 degrees during our stay there, so while the rooms were relatively comfortable, air conditioning would have helped.

Very nice hotel conveniently located next to the train station of Weimar. This is particularly convenient if one has to catch an early-morning train. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. The desk staff was very polite and helpful in assisting with temporary storage of luggage until the room was ready. Overall, a nice experience.

Very convenient location opposite the station with its own car park. Large, comfortable and very clean rooms, comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast with good choice of quality ingredients served in a sunny and airy breakfast room.

The check-out experience was disappointing. Only one very slow staff member on duty with a queue of about 20 people checking in and out. It took a long time with staff showing no sense of urgency. And the billing was incorrect.

Great classy hotel located on the big square opposite the main train station. Depending on your room's location, you can enjoy the view of the other building's nice sculpture opposite the street.

I stayed a 2nd night and the room wasn't cleaned in-between. But i guess this results from a misunderstanding on the part of the staff because my 2nd booking came late on the 2nd day.

In general the staff is very friendly and particular helpfull. There was just one young lady, very grumpy, rolling her eyes when question came..and did not know anything about the area to recommend...found it a bit strange being in a place full of cultur and hiking. Her mood did not change for several days

They upgraded me to a double room at no extra cost :) It was very quiet, with thick curtains to block out the light. Check-in was super quick, and they let me store my luggage after check-out. It's perfectly located, 1 minute from the train station, and a 15-minute walk into the center of town.

The bed was very soft.
