Motel One Saarbrücken

Very good option for a short stay in Saarbrücken. The location is perfect for those who like to go to restaurants and bars at night. The bedroom was very clean, well decorated and comfortable for a couple.

The very limited number of parking space was a bit of a disappointment. I had to park in the city center which was not a big problem, but as this was one of my filters when doing the booking, I have to point it out

Very good value-for-money hotel, near the river and around the corner from the old town. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good continental breakfast in the mornings, fresh and wide variety.

No kettle in the room; I know they like you to come to the restaurant for drinks etc at Motel One, but it is still nice sometimes to have a cup of tea in your own room.

Great chain of affordable and clean Motel rooms. Whenever I went to a Motel One in Germany, I have never been deceived. Love the comfortable mattresses and the nice breakfast. This one is very conveniently located in downtown Saarbrücken.

Very minor, but it would be nice if the room was equipped with the usual small stuff such as water bottles, pen and paper, etc. But we survived without them ;-)

very friendly staff welcoming you with a smile. Lovely design of the hotel lobby, foyer, bar, rooms. Location in the center of the city and very welcoming to pets

parking was harder to find as expected (5 minute walk) but the staff was very helpful with guiding me there. A small map pointing out where to park in your booking would make things much easier

All in all our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant one. It exceeded our expectations in many ways and I would highly recommend it. The room was also very nice! everything was clean and modern and also very cozy! And added extra is the beautiful lobby of the building. It is an absolute pleasure to walk and enter into the lobby. It its beautifully decorated.

However, there are some minor things that I think could have been better. (room for improvement) The location is absolutely great. Location get's a 10 our of 10. Unfortunately, we didn't try the breakfast. It was only served until 10 and it was also not included in the reservation. I think for the price of the room, breakfast could have been included. If this was the case, we would most certainly always decide to stay at Motel One in Saarbrücken.

Bar open 24 hours, although didn't have a need to use it much. Happy to get a parking spot in their secure garage.

Hotel is on pricey side. Breakfast was good but not included in my rate. I probably would look for alternative breakfast (considering the cost 16.90€) if I stayed again.

I really like the rooms. I always stay at Motel One in Cologne and Freiburg as well. I am quite satisfied with the bed however I find it too small for my husband and me, unfortunately. I just think the bed is a bit small for 2 people. My best friend and I feel the same way when we go to Motel One in Freiburg.

Some of the rooms are quite loud early morning due to deliveries so one should request a quiet room location before booking.

Nice hotel and nice staff. The room is small but really OK for a one or two night stay.

It would be good if we would be warned that the parking is full and a mention to park in P4 (the cheapest one around the hotel).

The location is perfect as it’s situated in the middle of the city center.

As there are many restaurants nearby,we could hear loud noises from the nearby Mexican/German restaurant at night. Not really a big deal for us, but if you’re a light sleeper or hard to sleep when it’s noisy, it might be difficult for you. Maybe you can request to have the room where the window is not facing the restaurant.

Very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, confy beds, great location to visit the city on foot.

Locking system of the door a bit rough, so whenever a neighbouring guest closed his door ... you will hear it and feel the vibration.
