Novotel Erlangen

Apart from the aspects in point 2., in which you mentioned pretty much everything and I rated pretty much everything, I must admit that I do loved everything. For instance, the employees :-) one recognized me after a long time not seeing each other, and that is something very valuable for me. So I do rate memory of the employee as perfect one not even considering the visuals, which was also perfection :-)

There is no such thing. Everything was well. I hope that will be the case of my next business trip that will take place in April. I am definitely seeing forward to it! Perhaps I will use and rate the wellness you got there.

The room was great as in clean, comfortable, equipped with everything needed for one night transit stay. Location was easy to access from the motorway and it looked and sound safe and clean. The breakfast was really good with a very wide range of styles to please all tastes. Staff has been above and beyond to make sure our stay, although short, is going to be at it's maximum expectations and it was. Many thanks to all of them and most definitely we'll come back.

The extra charge for the parking. A bit of a let down unfortunately.

Staff friendliness and well equipped hotel

12 euro fees for one night car parking is expensive

We've got a fully equipped kitchenette, that's gold when you are traveling with kids and is staying only for one night. We arrived in the evening and with all the facities it was easy to prepare a quick tea and some snacks for them, we didn't need to leave the room/hotel for that. The towels were huge and sooo fluffy, it was great. The breakfast was plenty, it was perfect.

Well, the dislike it's something very personal, so what it wasn't good for us be exactly what it was awesome for someone else. We didn't like the beds, the couple bed was very soft, the pillows were hard, the kids bed (sofa bed) wasn't made properly, so by the morning the bed sheets were completely loose. Also they set a "small" blanket in the kids bed, which resulted in one kid totally covered and another not. I believe that would have been better leave an extra blanket in the room or set a larger one.

Excellent breakfast, very nice and comfortable family room:)

Inexperienced personnel in the reception telling us at midnight after driving the whole day and in an arrogant way that there is no room to us - while we had the proof of booking. Luckily, a more experienced colleague stepped in and found our reservation. Please beware how you speak to a tired family at a late hour and check twice if you do not know!

The staff were really helpful and friendly particularly on arrival which was reassuring, the room was adequate and quiet therefore I slept well. The breakfast had excellent choice and was of good quality. When requesting an adapter because I had forgotten my own, they provided one. The location was great for everything you would need.

The room was a bit tired

Pretty much everything was very good - Specially the personnel at the fron desk and breakfast area. Food was great and plentiful and good variety.

My A/C was not working properly and would not cool down my room. I had the settings to cold and still not working.

it was an emergency booking for us because Nuremberg was extremely expensive and since we had a rental car we didn't mind driving to Erlangen. It was a great experience, the breakfast and dinner were great and the rooms were fully equipped and clean

Erlangen itself is a bit lackluster but that does not have anything to do with the hotel, so nothing bad on that front.

Very nice, clean and good equipped accomodation. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. Fully satisfied with all. One morning the toilet got broken, we reported the problem to the staff, and by the time we arrived back to the hotel in the afternoon, the toilet was repaired.

Spacious rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Good positions close to the city center and to several buses stops. Rich breakfast with good variety of food. Great personnel!

Maybe a small fridge in the room would have been good to have
