Hotel Fürst Garden

The (family) room was very large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and fresh. So nice we can choose our breakfast daily. The staff was very friendly and always smiling. We arrived after 2pm so we received clear and easy instructions with codes for the self check-in. Within walking distance to the city centre.

No lift. For us it was not a problem. For some guests it might be an issue, just to let them know.

it‘s nice and tidy. has a homey feel to it. The room is pretty big which was a nice surprise. The breakfast is good and keeps you full and is well organized so minimal amount is thrown away. The communication with the staff is good although there are on site only in the morning. The inner garden is a little smaller than expected but very nice to stay in in the mornings.

there were no cloak hangers in the room (beside from in the wardrobe), the only mirror was in the bathroom. the fridge was as small as a rice cooker and there was no way to connect it to the electricity. But the biggest disadvantage is that there is no lift. That could be tricky if you are alone, tired from traveling and there is no staff anymore to help you and your suitcase up the stairs.

A lovely little hotel, situated perfectly near a subway station and within walking distance from the city center. 24 hour check-in is extremely convenient. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. The area is very quiet and pleasant. I recommend the italian restaurant next to the hotel - not expensive and very tatsy.

All TV channels are in German, but this appears to be a nationwide issue...

The breakfast was excellent. We ordered the German, Turkish and Greek breakfast for the three of us. And frankly the breakfast surpassed our expectations. The rooms were spacious. Although, we couldn't get nearby rooms for the 3 of us, the rooms in itself were nice and comfy.

We couldn't get the attached rooms. The lights in to the bathroom/shower were difficult to find. In one of our rooms, the bathroom and the shower were separate.

Perfect location in the heart of Dortmund, a very nice neighbourhood with cool restaurants. Room was clean and had a nice bathroom / shower.

No bedside lamps so reading in bed was not possible. Breakfast was added as an extra of €15, a bit expensive.

The staff, cleanliness, comfort of the bed, the breakfast was amazing, the best breakfast ever. The shower was great. Central location, 10 minutes from the centre and 2 minute walk from underground station.

Lighting inside the room and bathroom a bit poor, not enough sockets or USB ports

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and everything was well organized. The key pick-up service was great and straightforward.

There was no iron in the room and the was no information about how to get one. The isn't much variety at breakfast. Although it was good value for money, the price could have been better.

The breakfast was wonderful, needed little until much later. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend it and would use it myself again.

Not an issue for me but it's three floors and no lift. But the staff volunteered to carry all the baggage.

Like everything about the trip it was near to all of the people we know in Dortmund and near the places we go drinking so not to far to go back to the hotel very friendly people on the staff of the hotel..

Nothing not to like.

The staff is very nice, the location perfect, the breakfast very rich and tasty.

The hotel has no elevator and it was pretty unpleasant to go up the stairs to the last floor after we walked the whole day visiting the city; during the night we wanted to turn the heat on as it turned pretty cold, but it did not work.
