ibis budget Bremen City Center

The staff was very welcoming, proactive and friendly. When I had some issues they were very fast and helpful. Overall it was very clean. The neighborhood feels a little bit unsafe but very typical around central stations all over the world.

I had a room beside an emergency exit that did not stop "beeping" every 2nd minute. The sound was very annoying and the staff tried to fix it for hours but didn't manage. In the end they manage to fix it the day after but did not have the best first night. They also tried to offer me a new room but the hotel was full. Another thing that was a little bit distributing was to find a rather big silver fish in the bed. I didn't "complain" about so not a very big deal but the hotel might have to do something about it.

The room was extremely spacious. It has open wardrobe concept and full block out curtains which helps with the intense daylight. The room we had an extra Murphy bed, so that could be a plus for some visitors. Everything is within walking distance. There's a dm store and some light snack shops below, it's extremely convenient.

They did their best for the soundproofing. At night, we can hear the traffic and white noises as the room was facing a big intersection. It's best to bring your own ear plugs. For the bathroom, the temperature of the water varies; there's hot water, but not that consistent. There'd be temperature change as you use them, it's weird.

Our stay at Ibis budget Bremen City Center was very pleasant. The room was compact but we had space for everything that we needed for one night stay. The location is right next to the Central Station which is also kind of good and bad. It's very convenient for transport, but there are also all kinds of people walking around. It's fairly close to the center, probably about 15 min walk. The staff was nice and friendly. We arrived quite early and we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk and walk around until our room was ready. Check out was very easy, you can leave the card in like a main box at the entrance. All in all, a great option for a short trip if you want to be close to main transport points in the city.

Since it's a budget hotel there was no complementary coffee or tea, which would have been a nice touch since the weather was pretty cold even though we were there in May.

This hotel is just a minute's walk as immediately in front of Bremen Hbf (main train station) and conveniently close to a selection of shops, including a supermarket. We both found it tolerably quiet even though the main tram and bus connections are in front of the hotel. The room was of decent size for a budget hotel and the staff helpful enough. The breakfast was fine, not as good as some other (more expensive) hotels but had a choice of healthy and traditional cold meat/cheese options. Not much cooked food but plenty of choice for most to enjoy. The WiFi work well enough, though occasionally needed you to sign-in again. Access from the street has an external door that needed your key-card at night and no worries about security.

I found the bed rather firm, though my colleague reported no problems.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Our room was towards the highway but you could only hear the traffic if the window was open. We could not hear other guest at all - noise level well good. Room ok size, but not much space for clothing, a few hangers. Very close to city center and shops. Entrance just in front of the main train station expect some dodgy types to hang around.

We could not adjust the heat, very warm in the room - though we tried to lower the temperature on the thermostat.

I loved the location, right between the train station and the old town. I learned budget means only one towel per person and no cups in the rooms. Also there is a deposit to borrow a hair dryer which didn’t bother me since it was a great dryer, it had real power. the room was clean and you could open a window.

The property can’t do anything about this but there are a lot of “homeless” and burnt out people that hang out in the area, so getting there isn’t welcoming. inside the building is fine. our thermostat wasn’t responsive so the nights were very warm.

The cost and location are great. There is no noise from the street at all. The bathroom is bright, clean, and quite nicely designed, in my opinion.

It's a non-smoking room, but I don't know why the towels especially smell like cigarette smoke to me. The pillows are also very slim.

Great location, clean, quitet and friendly hotel (inside). The check-in and check-out perfectly simple. Pretty cheap parking sites in the neighbouring buildings (4EUR or 8EUR per day, worth to pay for the BeWe Center Parkhaus Brepark instead of DB Bahn because of more parking spaces and no so difficult as DB parking, also it's more safe outside)

Ventilation system should be more quitet.

The location is great! I used it as a base for my trip to Germany and the 2 min walk to the Hauptbahnhof/Main trainstation is amazing as well as having most busses/trams stopping outside the door and the nice 10 min walk to the Old Town and city center is incredible. The price of about 55 euro/night is not bad considering how central this hotel is. Another thing I enjoyed was the colorful rooms and windows you can open up fully. My room was facing the inside the garden area rather than street so it wasnt too loud inside even tho I had the window open

The bed was a bit stiff, but it is a budget hotel so I wasnt expecting anything luxurious. Another thing, which I didnt enjoy was if you want to enter tje building after 22.00 it is a bit of a hassle, as you have to go around the building, enter another hotel and ask the staff to take you to "the right side" of the building. I dont know why that is, and would be a lot easier for everyone if the same entry was kept during all times. Also, there were no visible stairs in this hotel, only an elevator which made it a bit annoying when trying to go up to your room/leave the hotel because the elevators where either full or going the wrong way. Would have been nice with some stairs to use instead

The location is great because it's just in front of the train station and tram stops. You can easily go anywhere in Bremen from here. The room is clean and spacious enough. It's good for short stays and for business purposes.

It would be nice if I don't need to go to the reception for a hair dryer, it's free though but you need to take it yourself. Free breakfast would have been nice as well, but there are nearby bakeries and super market.
