Arthotel ANA Residence Bremen

Loved the character of this heritage hotel and the lovely sunny breakfast room and the chandelier in the bedroom. Nice breakfast buffet each day with a good array of continental and cooked options to choose from. Well priced too. Incredibly convenient for railway station, city centre and also the festival centre and Berger Park. No. 6 tram stop almost outside the door which takes you all the way to the airport. Lots of pop stars have stayed here, some international and photos all over the staircase wall. There is no point booking into an anywheresville hotel if you want to truly sample a city. This is that special historic hotel.

We had separate mattresses in our room for our first night which is traditional in Germany. However we asked for a double mattress and were given one with extra pillows for the rest of our stay. Hard to contact them directly to advise of evening time of our arrival as need to be contacted through their sister hotel.

It's a nice place, close to the main station and to other interesting places in the center. The rooms are nicely equipped and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The only thing to take into account is that rooms close to the train railroad can be loud even at night. We experienced both because we stayed there twice here during the trip and there was a considerable difference. As of September 23 the area is not the most family-friendly one... the drug scene is unfortunately present in every second corner.

Good breakfast, good wifi, pleasant reception area, near train station and downtown with an affordable price. Also, the train tracks are within sight but the windows are thick and there was no train noise in the room.

The TV station list includes several English-language stations (BBC etc.) but none was working, only German stations. The room cold use a table. There is a small desk and a couple small lamps but not enough space if you are using a laptop and want to also have space for a phone, ipad , pills etc. I just left them on the floor.

Clean and well kept rooms. Good location close to the old town on a quite street. Tip - walk through the rail station itself to get across to the old town not the nasty road underpass! Nice staff. Good breakfast. Lovely large, light room. They have some parking on a first come, first serve basis - but can advise on other arrangements. (Entry to car parking is pretty narrow - you’d struggle with a large SUV!)

The staff were so friendly and happy to help. From hot water bottles to making reservations for us at restaurants, they went above and beyond. The room was very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the neighbourhood was a delight to walk around. We would recommend this place!

We were really looking forward to using the sauna, but unfortunately it wasn't in operation during our stay.

Nice place in the centre of Bremen, close by the old city and the train station (which you can clearly hear). Old-style building, really cozy. Comfortable, clean rooms, functioning WiFi. Very friendly staff.

Room was a bit noisy (train station, noises from the heating system, firecracker in the yard). The beds in my rooms were extremely soft (one should like it :-D).

Very nice neighborhood in spite of being so close to the main train station. Super connection to public transport. Excellent breakfast.

Our room looked out to the train lines, which is noisy and unsightly. I recommend asking for a room facing the street.

I loved the ambience of the hotel. Room was decorated nice and hotel staff was incredible. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Location was perfect, accessible to train station and within walking distance of the town.

Everything was wonderful.

Lovely staff, very friendly family-style atmosphere. Nice lobby/bar area and cute building. Breakfast was great and good service from the staff! Very close to the Bremen Messe, the Hauptbahnhof and the Freimarkt area.

Beds could have been a bit softer, but were still OK. Elevator is small but one person with luggage still fits :)

As I have the coeliac disease, I need gluten fry meal. In Germany I've encountered difficulties in receiving such a breakfast, and that sense the Arthotel ANA's breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
