ibis budget Gare de Poitiers

All the receptionists were really kind and helpful, especially the Spanish one who also recommended us some monuments and interesting places in Poitiers. The double-bed room was comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a short stay. The shower was big for an individual one and it was good that it was separated from the w.c. I could work and rest because the room is quiet. As for the breakfast, the buffet is varied. The hotel is within walking distance from the city center, which is very convenient ;)

Instead of a stool, I would suggest to equip the table with a chair in order to work/study in the room. However, the room has everything you need for a short stay.

The check-in was great. We were met by a very friendly young man Javier who spoke english , spanish, and of course french.He gave us the room earlier than expected and gave advise on our visit to Poitiers. The room was small but clean. The bed was confortable. The location was very convenient close to the train station.

Lovely clean room with a great breakfast offering in the morning. The staff were lovely, and the location was great for arriving by coach and wandering. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for 2 adults and a giant 14 yr old, but we made it work for two nights.

I usually get a room in the town centre but this time I needed to be close to the station. It has to be one of the cleanest rooms I have had. It was so clean I thought maybe it was new. The room is small and basic with a good bed, shower and toilette. The corridors in the hotel are extremely clean also. I was a bit worried about reserving an ibis budget ( I never usually reserve less than 3 star) but frankly I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future one night visits to poitiers. The staff were very nice and efficient.

There wasn't a family room but we were put in two separate rooms. This was fine as the booking was at short notice due to a diverted flight. The staff were friendly. Central location.

A family room would have been good.

this hotel is not a starred hotel but it has all the basics. I stay here regularly and it is always very clean and the staff very cordial. it deserves a 10 for these reasons. it is just beside the train station so so handy.

if you want to be in the town centre and you stay a few days this is not the hotel for you.

We stayed there after a long train ride. We were extremely happy they could store our 4 bicycles for the night. Simple but clean and cozy rooms with shower, all we needed.

There was just 1 set of towels for 2 sharing a double room.

Right beside train station. My first stay in an ibis budget, and they have done a great job of giving you all you need at a great price. Breakfast was great value, too :)

I always like the ibis budget because you get a lot for a cheap price. The staff was very friendly and spoke english and they were helpful in storing my bike as well.

Excellent value for money. Basic, modern, clean rooms. Excellent choice for those needing to travel by train.

Rooms are smaller than pictured. The area around the train station is a bit dodgy, compared to the city centre.
