The room is simple but sufficiently equipped, showers and toilet are with the room. Staff is always helpfull. Hotel is clean and very close to the city center, only about 500 meters away from the old fortress with museum. Behind the hotel is a nice park. Breakfast is fine with Baguette, various sorts of marmelade, cereals, yogurt, fruits and coffee/chocolate from the machine. Guest kitchen is well equipped with pots and cuttlery. Wifi works good. I can highly recommend this place. Thanks to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable! :-)

Have nothing to complain about, everything was fine for me.

Beautiful building and 5 mins walk to the town centre, guy on reception was fantastic and very helpful especially by letting us park our motorcycles in a very safe spot, room was huge and the shower great, amazing value and a good simple breakfast for free, I would definitely stay here again, as some other reviews have said there is a certain hospital smell in the hotel, however at least you are sure it's clean

We bought a beer from the hotel bar around 20:00 and were shown to a lovely beer garden, when we went to get another beer about 30mins later and the bar was closed and locked, it's a pity the staff didn't tell the bar closed so early or we could have bought another beer at the start

Ideal stop-over for one night. Lots of small, affordable restaurants very close to the hotel. After dinner, take a stroll around the old fortifications of this cute northern French town. Although we had a room to the street, we could sleep with open windows. Room was functional with everything necessary for one night.

The hotel is unpretentious and does what it needs to. It’s good value, well placed and clean. There are great views from the rooms at the rear.

The cleaning smell was a bit strong in one of our rooms. Whilst the breakfast was adequate, it was quite limited.

Friendly staff, free parking in front of the accommodation, clean, elevator, good for larger families (5+), simple breakfast.

Small shower gel for the shower available, which is ok to use for handsoap as well but a bit inconvenient.

Everything was really good. The only suggestion I have is that there should be rooms fans available to rent. It was very hot and the room was stuffy. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

Hostel like residence with private rooms in typical French little town. Suited for foreigners coming for the WW1 memorial sites. The museum, restaurants, parks and shops are at walking distance. Everything was fine.

I liked how the staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure my stay was good - they were very relaxed and their conversation was natural and not forced

I got to breakfast after a bunch of kids so the available food was a bit decimated but cereal, bread and yoghurt was fine

Location is great, rooms are basic but comfy and clean.

Staff are only on site for a few hours each day, if there are any problems out of hours you are on your own. The contact phone numbers go to a machine and no one responds

We arrived on a Bank Holiday. We didn't see any staff, but they left a message about check in and everything was left out for breakfast. We had use of a kitchen which was great. Good location and facilities. We would definitely stay here again.
