As soon as I opened the door, I texted the owner: "All I can say is WOW!" I felt like I hit the jackpot. I clicked "exceeded my expectations" while filling out the review, and that's right. Briefly, I LOVE high ceilings, lots of space and light. The place was huge, especially in comparison to most places. Great character in old building. Only 2 things were not perfect: 1) I had to look up the stove on youtube to figure out how to turn it on (reset?) I'm tech savvy and fairly smart; it was not obvious how to work it. I texted the owner but got no reply; then I texted that I'd figured it out. 2) After a while, it sounded like a family with a young child came into the unit above, and the child was running back and forth. Eventually they went to bed, but for a bit was annoying. But these 2 things are relatively minor. As usual, when only one night available, price was very reasonable. But I had to leave next day.

Nice apartment, well furnished, full kitchen, easy check-in with lockbox. Easy free parking on the street since there is plenty of it. I cannot comment about the location since we literally used the apartment to sleep the night and leave the following morning early but the whereabouts look safe. The only issue is that we could hear the upstairs tenants walk and talk and were woken up early on with footsteps sounds but it was no big deal. Recommend

The insulation is poor we could hear thumping footsteps when people walked upstairs.

We stayed here to get an early morning ferry from Calais so it was a convenient location (1.5hr drive). You can walk into the main town from the apartment and there is a good supermarket that is a 10min walk away. The apartment was clean and spacious.

The bed was sqeaky but after 6 nights of camping, we didn't mind that much.

Clear check-in instructions, good location, clean, well-appointed apartment with everything we needed for our short stay. It is in a really quiet part of town, near the Basilique and parks but only a short walk from the train station.

The plastic mattress protector was really uncomfortable to sleep on.

check in was possible even at short notice. room was clean and comfortable. modern kitchen with stove and fridge. there was a fan available. A short 5 minutes walk away is the bakery "Paul" with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious baguettes. the city center is right next door.

small hint for improvement: would be nice to have a shelf in the shower for shampoo. The toilet seat does not stay up.

We stayed here as a stopover having driven from Northern Italy, before getting Le Shuttle back to the UK. It was the perfect place for this purpose. Easy to follow check-in instructions, small double bed studio but with everything you need to make a light dinner and breakfast. The shower room was clean and worked well, and we had a good night's sleep.

Beautifully decorated rooms with the all-important kettle to make a coffee. Clean and quiet. The main door to the building has security code, the apartment has a key holder with additional code. Both codes are sent when booked. Excellent for arriving at late hours.

I'm 5'10 and found the double bed too short.

The remote hosting instructions were very clear and organised.

One improvement to suggest on the arrangements. It would also have been helpful to send the door code and entry arrangements via the Booking.com app as well as sending by email. This would save us from having to trawl through our multiple emails to find the information. Just a small point - otherwise it was all very well organised.

Very convenient one night stop close to the motorway. Plenty of space and all that we needed. Free on-street parking right outside with lots of spaces.

The bed was too small for me. OK, I am 6ft2 (1.89m), but it had a foot board so I could not hang my feet over the ebd.

Perfect place for a stop on the way down to the South of France. Short walk to restaurants. Comfortable and clean with good parking.
