Résidence Lamartine - Nice

We had the most pleasant stay at Residence Lamartine. The personnel was professional and extraordinary friendly and cheerful. They even suprised my husband at the breakfast with a birthday waffle ❤️ The room was spotlessy clean, bed comfy, AC worked well - and the breakfast was delicious!

Location was great, just off the main strip and 5 mins from train station and the beach/restaurants. Staff were amazing, so friendly and always willing to help. We arrived late at night and they organised a transfer for us on a public holiday from the airport which our driver informed us he only did as a favour to the hotel, there were no taxi’s either so they really saved us there! Room was very comfortable, good size and nice bed. We did have some issues with our door but again the staff were very quick to fix. Really loved staying here, could not recommend enough!

Rooms were only cleaned every 3 days but you could get clean towels etc if you needed before so wasn’t an issue.

Beautiful home in this beautiful city. The apartment makes you feels like you live in Nice while staying there. Great for summer because of air-conditioning as well. Having a kitchen fully equipped (includes a dishwasher) was really helpful if you want to do things more on a budget and cook. It has a big bathroom with a bathtub, big bedroom with comfortable big bed that gets great daylight through tall windows (same goes for the living room area). Great storage and wardrobe to hang your clothes in too. They give slippers which is so useful, and they offer complimentary coffee for cafetiere, espresso capsules for espresso maker, few herbal teas and still & sparkling water in the fridge. Also, it feels secure thanks to the electronic code system to access the building and the room. The team was super friendly, the communication was done via Whatsapp which was efficient. Very close to the tram stop, the main shopping street is like 2 minutes walk, and it is 18-ish minutes walk to the old town/beach. One of the best stays ever, thank you, team! Will be booking this place again for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Everything was perfect and suitable for us. We traveled with our 11 months old baby and all the facilities that we needed for him waited for us in the room (bath, chair, bad, changing mat etc.) The staff was super nice and helpful and made us feel welcome to ask them any question, starting from recommendations for restaurants and to attractions that suitable for a baby. Even when we encountered in a medical situation they helped us to get by in a strange city and made this unfortunate experience much more pleasant. We warmly recommend this hotel and the staff

The room was absolutely beautiful, a large space with a fully working kitchen, large fridge etc which is very useful. The bed is huge and very comfortable and there is a sofa and chairs to sit and have a drink before going out or to have dinner at. We had 3 large windows in our apartment which made it lovely and bright. The breakfast was perfect, the staff at breakfast bring you whatever you like and feed you very well, and the garden area is beautiful to sit out in the the morning. The best thing of all is the wonderful staff that are definitely the most helpful and welcoming I’ve experienced before, thank you so much!!!

Professional and friendly staff with excellent pre-stay communication. We arrived by an early morning train and were able to leave our bags, which were moved to our room for us once the room was ready. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped (including kettle and toaster, for those interested in such things!). Nice toiletries, too. We only stayed one night so didn't use any other facilities, but there is a small courtyard garden where they serve breakfast, and sizeable communal areas including a pool table. Central location only a few minutes walk from each of the railway station, beach, and old town.

Although we didn't cook anything the well-equipped kitchen was really useful to make tea, have breakfast and we could keep our water bottles cool. The snacks, tea and coffee given to us on arrival were lovely and the cool drinking water in the fridge was replenished. There was plenty of space for three of us and the sofa bed in the living room was easy to set up and put away each night/day. We had a really comfortable stay at Lamartine and it was a great location to explore the old town of Nice. Also, the air conditioning was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

The shower screen didn't prevent leaks and we sometimes had a little pool of water on the floor

Amazing stay. Lovely aparthotel, clean and great facilities. Bed is extremely comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking stuff if you were to need it and it was very spacious. Staff are so attentive and are on hand if you need anything, really accessible via WhatsApp. Great location, not far from main square in nice and also very close to train station making it a great base to explore the French Riviera! Would very highly recommend and would definitely return if we were to come back to Nice.

Nothing at all! Excellent stay

Our apartment on the fourth floor was sunny and warm, with two balconies. Our daughter slept on the fold out bed and then we asked for a twin bed in our room which was more comfortable for all. Staff is friendly and accommodating, they really want the guests to have a good time. Hotel has a small garden and a large lobby, very convenient for travel with kids. Well located near two tram stops (Jean Medecin and Durandy) you have lots of sights and transit options to see nearby. Nice to have a well equipped kitchen to cook if you don't feel like dining out, even had local friends over for dinner one evening. Good for families and people with kids.

I have stayed at Residence Lamartine when I'm in Nice and I love it. First, the location is excellent, not far from the train station. I love to travel around the Riviera, so it's great to be near the train station and also many stores and restaurants. There's a large Monoprix grocery and department store within walking distance, which is ideal for grabbing some cooking supplies. The building itself is beautiful and historic. When I walked into my apartment, I was blown away. I'd stayed before, but this time in another apartment that had the most gorgeous decor, wall colors that were muted and calming and I loved the furniture and vibe. I felt immediately at home, at peace, and happy, as the Nice sun streamed through the large windows. The apartment was so comfortable, the bed was amazing, great, fast wifi, plenty of hot water in the shower with great water pressure. Plus, you have a full kitchen so you can make what you like. I also loved that there was just a door code to get in the apartment, I don't know about you, but I'm always worried about losing key cards or them being deactivated. The door code works great. With as great as the apartment is, none of it would matter if not for the staff. They are professional, attentive, and always there for you. They communicate with you also via Whatsapp, which is super convenient. It's just a really great place to stay and my thanks to the staff for all they do!

Maybe some tissues in the apartment for allergy suffers (ahhh choo!), but that's really minor!
