An oasis after a long day driving, we had planned to visit the centre of Nancy instead we ate our picnic in the grounds (the restaurant is closed on Monday evening), overlooking the city as the hotel is perched on a hill on the outskirts. Our spacious room had luxurious thick carpet, was furnished with 1950s furniture/decoration with a large collection of coffee table books. Double aspect room on first floor with large sliding doors, note no rail so probably not a good choice if you have little ones as you can step outside. Great view of the garden which had many seating areas, lit at night, well landscaped. The bathroom was separate from the toilet cubicle (common in France), room had a nice look to it with everything working. Finally staff very friendly and happy to help, including giving useful information about visiting the centre.

We knew the restaurant would be closed, however we were sad that it wasn't an option. Local restaurant also closed on Monday. Picnic in the garden in the summer was a great option. No air con however the room quickly cooled down once we opened all the windows. Some mould on the shower near the drain - all else very clean and sparkly. Note breakfast is brought to your table, so no choice however very acceptable to be offered coffee, grapes, jam, cheese baguette etc.

First of all I have to comment on the dinner we got at the Hotel restaurant. We did not expect anything special but we for sure got it. Food was very well presented and professionally prepared. We asked the waiter for his recommendation on a suitable wine and were very happy with his suggested choice. The breakfast was very French and of course delicious. Although the Hotel is small and set in an very old building with squeaky staircases and no elevator we felt at home.

As we very much liked the Hotel we did not encounter any problem, but it took two turns around the old village to find it and the parking on the street was what we got.

The location, the decor throughout and little touches made this a truly exceptional place to stay. The dinner was truly amazing for the money and ranks amongst the best dinners we have ever had in all our years in France - looking forward to staying there in the future. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

A lovely boutique hotel with a fantastic unique style. A large bedroom full of Swedish 1950s pieces that were all so beautifully put together, the owner has great taste. Comfortable bed, high quality bed linen. We ate in the restaurant which was absolutely first class, a huge wine selection and the staff couldn't have been more efficient. Even the lovely French jazz music on whilst having breakfast was a treat ! Highly recommend.

The hotel is set upon a hill within a beautiful garden surrounding. The decor is midcentury modern but with a twist, featuring lamps and design pieces that are highly collectible and which all work well together. It's a great alternative to the usual stuffy hotels. ! Our room was very comfortable and also full of light and thoughtful design features. the bathroom is beautifully done, with a rainshower and heating can be adjusted easily throughout the room. The views out onto Nancy and the gardens is lovely. The restaurant was absolutely amazing, beautifully prepare food, excellent ingredients and thoughtful combinations. Excellent wine and very good service. Breakfast was perfect, simple but gorgeous. Artisan breads and jams and excellent (strong) coffee. We were really happy there and wanted to extend the stay but the hotel wasn't available another night. So we will definitely return!

That we couldn't stay one more night! ; )

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing!! We had dinner and breakfast. The room is super spacious. The bathroom as well. It was also very nice that our dog was welcome. Note: dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and on the terrace during dinner. For us, this was fine. What was also very nice, was the area. It's near several parks and forest.

We would have loved a small fridge and a/c.

A lovely small hotel in a perfect location for visiting Nancy located on the hill in the old town. Quiet, boutique style. Good parking. We opted to eat at the hotel. The Chef prepared a very special meal and fine wines were available. All the staff were very welcoming.

a stylish eclectic furnished property where one can eat really well.

we were concerned that when the French windows from our bedroom were opened there was balustrade to prevent a child falling to the ground. This did not pose an issue for a 76 and 73 year old couple but potentially as disaster for a child.

Restaurant: great vintage design and very nice food! Nice plating and good combinations. Price and Quality is fair. And the appetizers and bread were amazing too. Room: room was okay, with a nice bathroom. Friendly staf. Parking: free parking space around the hotel.

Room: some lights did not work and we missed some amenities like a coffeemaker. Restaurant: the website has an English section as well, however there is no English menu available.

perfectly located a little out of town for a brief stop en-route to Italy.

We were travelling with 2 dogs and, although they kindly allowed them to stay in the room, they were not allowed in the restaurant. Not a problem for us as there’s a fab Moroccan restaurant next door and they let us bring the 4-legged’s.
