Mercure Hôtel Le Touquet

The Hotel is very well situated in the middle of woods (you can hire bikes to ride into the city centre).. one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. Very modern. The rooms are well equipped with dressing gowns (to go down to the swimming pool and spa) and coffee/tea facilities and a fridge and a safe. The beds are large. We didn't have any meals or drinks in the hotel as we wanted to profit from the numerous restaurants in Le Touquet and its surroundings - but it looked good and the outside bar gave a real feeling of being on a desert island ! The spas was excellent - really clean and good massages (that you can do as a couple).

I personally found the bed too soft - but everyone is different! I noted also that on one side of the bed there was no bedside table - but I told reception and suggested they do something about it...and they were very happy to receive this type of feedback.

The hotel was really nice and comfortable and it was decorated really nice. Facilities were great and the location was just perfect. Close to everything and yet not in a crowded area which was amazing. Staff were really helpful and friendly and looked after us really well. Our room was really comfortable and they had thought of everything. Thank you all for a great experience. x

Location was ok. Breakfast start to closed at 10 am very early for a January 1st. Restaurant room too small, we had to seat in the big hall...

I don't know if I was in an IBIS a Mercure or a Tribe.... This hotel is a cash factory... 3 hotels for two receptionists... The customer is waiting in line! We are shown a standard room with a balcony on booking... and we are allocated a very small room under the roof, limited to circulate with two in this surface (4*?); with the room tomorrow stuck to the bed, with windows on the door of the toilets... Not much privacy... After negotiation, we were moved to a room on the 1st floor, bigger, without balcony (as on the picture). We had specified that we wanted to be in the high floors...

Breakfast was great, the common parts, like the bar, patio and the pool were really nice and well designed. The pool and sauna were so lovely. The rooms were tidy.

The restaurant was not very good and overpriced, both the adults and the kids food. The rooms were quite small, with no where to keep your suitcase or unpack any clothes except to hang. There were chairs in the bedroom that blocked the balcony door because there was no where else to put them. It was all very cramped. They were unable to help us find a taxi to the hotel from the station. And didn't warn us in advance that a large group had booked out the bar and restaurant one night.

Breakfast was reasonable for level of hotel. Indoor pool area was very good - but unfortunately no fitness gym facility

cleaning service was bad. no change of towels, bins were not emptied. not even new water bottles provided. Rental bike for 35 Euro / day! this is outrageous ,considering you get them for 15 Euros in town. Rooms are small .
