Very welcoming, friendly and generous host. A convenient location, on a quiet road, giving easy access to the road network and the nearby town, yet in a tranquil setting, with off-street parking, backing onto bird-filled woodland. The interior is traditional, comfortable and beautifully-kept. The guest accommodation is built into the roof, with large, opening roof windows overlooking the garden and woodland, and divided into two rooms plus a toilet /shower room, all well- appointed. Breakfast was splendid, and our host took care to provide for specific dietary requirements, having been notified in advance. A feeling of privacy and relaxation, yet with advice or assistance available if we needed it.

These things weren't really a problem for us, but just for awareness: access to the bedroom is via two sets of of stairs which could be a little narrow for some. The double bed is in a fairly small room under a sloping roof (beneath the window) so the person on the outside needs to manœuvre below this and remember to get out of bed carefully to avoid bumping their head! All adds to the character of the place, though.

Jaqueline is a great host. We had some nice conversation, even with my very limited French. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was huge, and the garage was perfect for our motorcycles. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A 20 minute walk to Montreuil. I didn't mind but might be a bit far for some.

Jacqueline gave us such a warm welcome after a long journey from Yorkshire. Gill speaks fluent French so I kept having to ask what they were talking about! Every thing was spotlessly clean and an amazing breakfast.

We arrived to a cozy real fire and offered a welcome drink. Jacqueline was very welcoming and friendly and in the morning prepared us a lovely plentiful breakfast. Lovely touches in the room, such as china tea cups, wine glasses. bottle opener, sweets, tea and coffee.

The style and comfort of the accommodation was fantastic. It was private and perfect for a family as 2 double beds and a single with me room cornered off and a beautifully clean as new bathroom with a power shower. The breakfast was lovely and the hostess was very welcoming and willing to help with all matters.
