Really nicely decorated bedroom with balcony, clean and modern same for bathroom and separate loo. Good mattress, perfect sleep. Downstair kitchenette with coffee making facilities. Read some negative on bar underneath and noise. Met the lovely lady from their staff and got confirmation it was soundproofed. I was due to get at 5am and did not get bothered by the sound at all.
This did not bother me at all but this place is not for people who expect a "Meet the Hote" experience with chit chat.

Lovely staff . Clean good location.
My only quibbles were a) wifi was inaccessible most of the time and b) though no fault of the hotel, unfotunately the main street of Gourdon is a thoroughfare for traffic passing through the town (except on Saturday morning when there was a lovely market and the traffic diverted. ) This means when people are travelling to and from work it was actually much noisier than where I live in Paris ! However at night and early morning it was very peaceful .

the room, floor and bed were freezing icy cold - I was shaking cold. it took 3 hours of blasting the heat to make it possible there is no wifi
