Hôtel Inn Design Resto Novo Chartres

As always, the rooms are great for an overnight stay. Breakfast was extremely good which surprised me a little as the last time I was here, (early October), the choises were far more limited than this time, with no baguettes, cheese or ham. Maybe I was earlier this time but there was an ample supply.

A couple of minor niggles. There was no remote for the tv. I asked the receptionist and he was more than helpful bringing me a remote except he couldn't get it to work. As I was only there for one night it wasn't too important. The other disappointment was no internet signal in my room. I tried a couple of devices but none could connect. I did find that in the main reception area there was a good signal so it probably was the fact that my room (no 10) was furthest from reception.

This was my 4th stay here and it is niow my go to place to stay overnight when travelling down through France. I've always found the staff very friendly and welcoming, the beds comfortable and the breakfasts very good value.

I know it can't be changed but it is not the easiest place to find. My Tomtom always has trouble finding it. On this particular occasion,the TV remote was faulty and I could only change channels in one direction and also the volume control didn't work.

The room was hot, there isn’t Aircon and the duvet was very heavy. Luckily, we had our own sheet, and on the first floor we could sleep with the window wide open so we slept very well. Without those, I think we would have sweltered. we stayed here before, but this time our shower really was pretty grotty ( room 20)

I always stay here when possible on my way to and from my holiday home. Always exactly what you expect and require on your overnight stay.

Pretty happy with everything. I think they have got it just right for an overnight stay. I always have trouble finding it even though I've been there many times as my TomTomleads to what appears to be an industrial estate.

Convenient location for an overnight stay. Close to the centre by car. Parking on site. Reception staff very welcoming. The room was very small but was fine for the one night and we left very early. Bed was comfy, and shower adequate. No A/C so visiting mid summer as we did, in hindsight, we should have paid more to stay somewhere with A/C. That is not a negative of the hotel, that was my fault 😀

For the price paid, its unfair to be critical of the room size

Access was good from main roads. Very good value for money. Nice to have a kettle in the room. The host was very welcoming and helpful

Not much parking, and the car park could be accessed on foot from main road which made it vulnerable, fresh glass in car park suggested someones car or van had been broken into recently

Spotlessly clean everywhere. Staff very friendly, welcoming and spoke English. The room and facilities were everything you would want for an overnight stay. I had asked for a quiet room and hardly heard a sound during the night. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Again the room and shower/toilet were exceptionally clean and bright. Continental breakfast was excellent with ample supplies of everything you would need. All in all a perfect place for an overnight stop and I will certainly book again when needed.

My only criticism is that I found it difficult to find. My sat nav took me to the street. I had keyed in the full address and street number, but when tom tom said I had arrived there was nothing but industrial premises. I was at least half an hour driving round the vicinity, asking passers bye but no one could help. Eventually I noticed a tiny drive way between two of the buildings where you had to virtually jump the kerb to cross. right at the very end round a small roundabout. I found it. It would be helpful if there was a sign at the roadside to indicate where the hotel is.

Value for money when all I needed was a bed and bathroom while travelling. The room I was given was rather small, but in terms of vakue fir money it was still very good. Parking plentiful and lots of restaurants around if you need to eat.

The pillows had no substance, need replacing.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with additional pillows as requested (thank you). The man on reception was very nice and breakfast was good too. A good place for a stopover en route. If you didn't want to eat there then there's a restaurant nearby.

Everything was fine and comfortable.

friendly, welcome, helpful staff, very quiet room, very comfy bed, nice for you out the window, very pleasant, decor and a kettle! A room with swiftly changed when the bathroom light didn’t work in the First room

check-in was very slow, but we seemed to have arrived as an extremely busy time.
