B&B HOTEL CHARTRES Oceane

The staff, especially Thomas, was great. The hotel is clean and updated. Breakfast was perfect. Close to city and parking for both hotel and visit to Cathedral were easy. Enjoyed dinner at Cafe Bleu. Good stop right off motor way.

We would have liked more pillows in the room, at least 2 pillows per person. Also more toilet paper and hand towels in the bathroom. Air flow from air conditioner was ok. We had the fan on the highest setting and with the window closed , it could be better or install add a fan as it can get a little stuffy, but we thought these were easy minor changes. We would recommend.

I didn’t actually book breakfast with our room as I didn’t think we would need it, but when we came down in the morning of our checkouts, the very kind lady at reception offered us breakfast anyway, it was a continental buffet style breakfast, and even though I had not booked it, we were given breakfast along with a 10% discount because we had stayed overnight in the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with fresh scrambled eggs, fresh bacon and an absolute mountain of cheese and ham is we could not have been happier with the breakfast. It was absolutely

What a great hotel - very handy location for the motorway when travelling to or from the south of France. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Nice and quiet at night with blackout curtains too and good air con. Great breakfast in the morning - excellent value. A 10 minute drive to the centre of Chartres for restaurants - you can’t walk anywhere I don’t think given the fact you’d have to cross the motorway. We drove 10 minutes to a good restaurant called Le Bergerac in Morancez and had a great dinner (easy parking outside).

Took while to find ( my fault as put wrong B&B hôtel in ) but was very pleased when I got there . I was tired after driving from uk so it was a perfect stopover . It is on a very quiet business park so the room was exceptionally quiet , it is a new hôtel , very clean and very comfortable . The room was large too and the bed superb .

No hairdryer although not a real problem .

The hotel exceeded our expectations! Such great value for money, so clean, comfortable beds, and the breakfast was lovely, including scrambled eggs and bacon. Also friendly staff on desk asking how well we slept etc. very welcoming!

Maybe just a couple more hot breakfast foods but this was fair enough for the price, everything else was perfect for a restful stopover

Clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, very handy for the motorway. Fabulous and huge Carrefour supermarket only about 8 minutes drive away, which we used due to the paucity of eating places locally.

Very difficult to find somewhere decent to eat locally, we knew it wasn’t a central location of course and did our research beforehand, but even then didn’t realise quite how sparse the options are.

The person that greeted us couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. They spoke brilliant English and was very pleasant.

Location is pretty much on an industrial estate with not many eatery options near by. But the hotel was able to serve pizza and beer which was much appreciated after a long journey.

Excellent location and easy to find, free secure parking on site, clean and comfortable room attractively decorated with flair and imagination (very unusual in a budget hotel), clean and well-equipped shower room. Friendly, competent and helpful staff, and probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a French hotel. Altogether an excellent experience at a very reasonable price.

Even in a budget hotel, providing only one pillow per person was not good and badly affected our quality of sleep. Equally, only supplying one towel each was inadequate.

The price and the parking made this an ideal stopover hotel on route. The breakfast was varied and good value. The staff were warm and welcoming and had excellent English so we were able to communicate with ease.

It seems trivial but the side tables were a little small. Only one pillow provided per person, glad we brought our own.

Location and security of parking. Good, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Good breakfast at a bargain price. We bought two pizzas in the early evening, which were really excellent value. Lovely, friendly staff who deserve a special mention.
