ibis Besançon Centre la City

Everything was great: the room was spacious for 2 people, the location was absolutely perfect, 10 min walking and you are in the middle of the old town, close to the citadel and in the park. If you are travelling by car, there is a parking place (you have to pay).

I can't complain about anything. If I have to choose something - we did not decide to eat breakfast at the hotel. We came late - 09:30 and it looked like there was not much to choose from, so we decided to eat outside.

This hotel is situated right near the old center, 3 minutes walk so you can't wish for more. Great parking under the hotel but without elevator. The hotel is very clean, modern. Rooms are not so big but confortable. The bathroom is a little strange being a boat cab, but functional. Good wifi. Good breakfast the only minus, the are no vegetables. Anyway, a good experience. 10 and we would come back.

We had a great stay at the Ibis hotel La City in besancon, the room was clean and mostly quiet and the beds were good. The breakfast was very good: croissants, pain au chocolats, madeleines, fresh bread, fruit, cheese, bacon, a well and exclusive breakfast. We will come back to Ibis and visit the beautiful city of Besancon, merci Ibis.

There's nothing to dislike at the moment!

Large comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms. Silence and Peace. Comfortable bed. Pleasant and friendly staff. We had a very good rest.

Underground parking is available for a fee of EUR 10. You can get into it only after Check-in, where you will receive a code for entering. Before that, it is necessary to look for a parking space on the street.

perfectly situated at the edge of the old city! beautiful, and short walk into town along the Doubs! parking garage directly under the Hotel (€12,- / night) and Breakfast (€12,-) .. Restaurant is a good option if you prefer not to go down town, although one should not miss the ambience of the city at night!

By the river Modern Pod en-suite was a good use of space Adjoining restaurant

Not obvious that you need a car park code until you’re down a narrow slope next to the barrier. The very limited menu in the restaurant, fine for one night, but too repetitive for longer.

Location, location, location! Secure parking for motorcycle. Ok for a night or two but a bit small for anything longer.

Hotel location, cleanliness, breakfast, reception staff, comfortable beds, quiet.

I would have preferred a refrigerator, especially in the summer season, and also a device for heating water to make tea or coffee.

We got a really big room even if we didn't pay much, so that was really nice. The room and the hotel was very clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The view from the room was also really good.

The toilet door was broken, so weren't able the close it. We couldn't go to the toilet in peace...lol

Nice staff, good location and parking, comfortable bed. I liked very much the Bistro/ restaurant.

Be carefull when you book this proprety. I had the big surprise when I saw they took money (160 euro) from my card as a guarantee even thow this wasn t specified on my reservation and it was with free cancellation. I payed 83 euro at check in for the room and naw I have to wait to recieve my money back in about 3 days they said.
