From the moment you pass through the entrance, you know you have arrived at a special place. First impressions let you know this will be an enchanting visit. The grounds are immaculate, filled with beautiful colors of gorgeous flowers and trees. There’s even a delightful peacock. The building is filled with timeless treasures. Around every corner, on every wall is beautiful artwork and gorgeous statues. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. Every detail has been thought through carefully to ensure a guest has all their needs met. Relaxing is so simple and easy here. The breakfast is a feast for your eyes , as well as a symphony for your tastebuds. The variety of delectable treats is a perfect way to start any morning. The dinner is spectacular! It must be experienced to truly explain in full detail. It’s like no other. Truly a masterpiece! A feast for royalty!!! The attention to detail is evident in everything. But the true magic is Brian. His kindness and hospitality bring magic to the experience. His passion is the life in this exceptional property. Brian is excellent host and make you feel at home straight away. He is absolutely wonderful, so gracious, informative and enjoyable. He will give you great advice as to what place you need to see. The homemade breakfasts, lunches and dinner are super tasty. The Easter dinner was exceptional delicious with great combination of local wine and lovely decoration. Every detail from plate to flowers was decorated pretty. The rooms are beautifully furnished and accessorised. Brian run the place with a big heart and engagement. If you want to visit Provence - this is a place where you should go :) We will come back for sure. An overall 10/10.

Cannot express enough the wonderful stay we had at B de B. Manor has been renovated providing modern conveniences but retains its old world charm with elegant furnishings combined with an eclectic mix of art in a beautiful stone building. Host Brian has an uncanny sense of meeting all your needs without you even stating it. You come back from a day of touring and he offers chilled drinks with nibbles. Or shares an interesting bit of history about the area. Check into dining there. It was one of the best meals we had in France and we've dined at some really nice places. ( We actually had dinner there twice). Lovely spread at breakfast with variety of fresh fruits, bakery items, fresh sqeezed oj, omelet if you desire, plus more. An amazing way to start your day! We had a room with private terrace. Wonderfully peaceful to sit there in the evening with a glass of wine or in the morning watching the sun rise. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. I could go on describing all the special touches but just do yourself a favor and book a room. Many thanks to Brian. Your hosting skills are beyond compare.

Your stay with Brian will be the quintessential stay in the French countryside. this is Brian’s life’s work. he spent his career in the hospitality business, and has refined what hospitality should be. you are greeted upon arrival, and offered a drink. all the rooms have everything you need, down to a lavender sachet on your pillow. bedding for a queen and the best pillows in all of Europe. you will not find a better nights sleep. do not come unless you plan to stay for dinner. Brian is Michelin trained and he will not disappoint. it is fine dining in a relaxed environment. on Brian’s suggestion to road bikes along the river, past achient castles right into the Avion city center. only a short 20 min ride. my only regret was we didn’t stay longer. we will be back.

I couldn’t find a fault

beautiful old house with most beautiful rooms designed and renovated with lots of style. Brian, the owner who is fluent inEnglish and French,most welcoming and helpful host so far. Peggy, the lady of the house will do everything to make your experience is exceptional. they offer cold Rose day and night. sparkling and cold water, towels for the pool, mosquito spray etc… we had our 9th anniversary while staying at Bastide and all of them made that a very special for us. they organised massage in the shades of the garden. champagne next to the pool, they cooked special dinner ( risotto with scallops) , candles and beautiful table setting… we had twice dinner at their restaurant and both time were so pleased and satisfied! the breakfast is also one of a kind while staying in France. the selection of cheese, cold cuts, fresh croissants, bread , fruits, cereals and omelet a la casa is just wow. Most places we stayed ( 4 stars ) had ok breakfast but this one is just something else. our child also enjoyed while playing with cute friendly dog and family of peacock! very recommended !

only thing is that the grass in August is not like you imagine on the pictures, but that is reasonable on those hot days, plus they are caring of the water using.

We absolutely feel in love with this hotel (bed&breakfast, but truly 5-star hotel service!). The actual structure and decoration are beautiful and with real class. The food was amazing - breakfast with high quality fruits and delicious breads, it was a feast and more like brunch. We ended up having dinner there 2 out of 3 nights (actually wished we had all 3 nights) since it was incredible, fresh, classy and delicious. The owner is a professional chef, so we had the best service and food. Menu changed daily and also included wine, sparkling water, variety of cheeses and delicious dessert. The best feature of this gem is Brian - he's an unique, classy, experienced, well traveled, well lived, king and funny person who just goes out of his way to make our stay the best. We are definitely coming back! It was a fairytale kind of place.

This lovely place was real surprise ! So nice exclusive atmosphere and treatment from the owner Brian and his great and warm assistant Peggy. We just felt we came to our dear friends to such a beautiful and proper home. Every detail is organized with a lot of love, art passion and refine taste of the owner. Appreciated a lot the open - mind of the team. The room and bed are very comfortable! We were so recharged sleeping in a silent and cozy place! Definitely come back soon !

Beautiful property with all the luxuries you could need! We were welcomed upon arrival with a wonderful walk through of the property. Bikes were made available for us. We relaxed in the room then jumped on the bikes for a short but lovely ride to the city of Avignon where you can park your bikes and explore the city or eat dinner. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast spread all prepared by owner. Lots of relaxing areas of the property to enjoy the French sunshine including nice big pool with lounge tables and lots of room to explore (would be great if you had children). Parking on site. Rooms are perfect - Large renovated bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine. Spacious. Overall absolutely great experience and can't wait to go back!

That we could only stay one night :(

It was the best hotel of my life. Brian is so kind and all the food is perfect. We recommend that you try dinner. The bedding is very clean and the hot water comes out well. In addition, the swimming pool is perfect for relaxing and being one with nature. Thanks again to Brian for making our honeymoon trip perfect for me and my wife. I will be visiting again soon with my baby. It is an honor to be the first Korean guest of Bastide. -Sanghyun, Yoona-

Brian the Irish owner was simply fantastic. He will greet you upon your arrival and help you get settled. He also is a fantastic chef and we had two dinners at his B&B. Breakfast was also amazing fresh squeezed orange juice , fresh croissants and one of best omelets I ever had. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was renovated to a modern standard. has two gorgeous peacocks that were fun to watch.

Nothing . Brian made us feel like family. It felt like visiting an old friend in a different country.
