the location was perfect in a lovely buzzy village nice pool - warmer than others very big bedroom and bathroom, plus private terrace staff mostly very nice and friendly really clean nice touches to the service - certainly a 5 star set up

the floor tiles in the bathroom are a bit slippy - they should be on walls only. the bath was a really awkward shape for showering in - you can’t get close to the shower and have to stand in the middle of the bath, or risk slipping over. being asked if we wanted to add a tip at the end when settling up was a bit awkward. never experienced that before and the reaction left things on a slightly sour note. shame. still, would definitely very happily return to the hotel and the village.

Excellent hotel with a great location on thecedge of Villeneuve les Avignon town, meaning the many restaurants could be reached on foot for dinner or coffees, and the local historic buildings are within 15 mins walking distance - Abbey St Andrew, Fort St Andrew, Chartreuse. Great friendly service. Beautiful michelin starred restaurant with amazing food which at euro 75 a head is not too pricey, and a nice large pool. Felt like a country hotel in town.

An excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We had every comfort and the staff were extremely helpful and just the right amount of attentive. They recommended a fabulous tour guide who took us around to wineries and villages on one of the day and helped us put together itineraries for our other days. Relaxing by the pool at the end of the day was the perfect way to wind down and dinner on the beautiful terrace at the restaurant was a highlight of the stay.

There is nothing not to like but the stay was an investment in luxury - not a value proposition.

Breakfast was very good ~ service attentive - understand English which is a plus Gardens and pool area well looked after

The taxi organised by reception was very expensive - it appeared to be a limousine service which is definitely not necessary - reception staff should ask the customer for the preference of transport we were not asked

Gorgeous location in a beautiful suburb of Avignon with lots of bars, restaurants and shops, very convenient for cycling, pleasantly away from the bustle in Avignon, but close to all sights.

(1) Nights are wonderfully quiet, yet starting at about 6 am, the gardening staff began to rearrange the outdoor seating area by dragging the furniture very loudly over the stone paving and raking the gravel. I'm usually an early riser, but would have liked to sleep in just a bit longer on vacation. (2) No bar service in the afternoon. After a day of cycling, we would have enjoyed a refreshment in the outdoor lounge area.

This is such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in a gorgeous, bustling little town. The property feels very quiet, the parking is easy but walk through a door and you're amongst shops, restaurants and picturesque town squares. We were lucky with the weather and ate outside in the restaurant for 3 nights and loved every moment. We sat by the pool, wanderered through the town & visited Avignon. This was our third visit & we will always try to return to this hotel and we're so glad to see it again after this difficult year.

There is nothing to not like

fantasy setting becomes reality. this hotel is picture perfect in a laid back old town just outside Avignon. huge parking lot and great home base to explore the city and surrounding areas.
