ibis Styles Amiens Centre

This is great hotel located only a few minutes walk from the cathedral and St Leu - ideal for exploring Amiens. It's an Ibis Styles so you sort of know what to expect but the lobby area with it's comfy seating areas, outdoor spaces and large bar is really great. The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The air con certainly works in the rooms!

I think that Booking.com suggested that there was no on site parking but there actually was - you needed to book in advance. In reality we probably couldn't have used the car park as we had a roof box and a 1.9m height restriction would have made this difficult. Maybe worth knowing though. Lots of on street parking nearby.

Although it is a chain hotel, it didn't feel completely like one. Rooms and halls have a pseudo-loft/warehouse feel with exposed piping, bare concrete walls, etc. It wasn't ugly or tacky, and was well done. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options including fresh juice. Wifi very good, bathroom nice, and hotel is centrally located. Was able to park on the streets with a bit of luck (much cheaper than parking in hotel garage since overnight street parking is free).

One expects English to be spoken at a travel/business chain hotel, and the staff didn't really speak English, which made communications somewhat difficult. At bar in the evening service could be spotty

The hotel is Jules Verne-themed which was fun -- room very modern and casual, although not totally functional (geared more toward international hipsters than us); bed not particularly comfy, mattress too thin/hard after having come from 7 great nights sleep Halkidiki, Greece -- but different price point!

Onsite parking full when we arrived, hard to imagine a city center hotel having this problem (have visited over 110 cities in 20+ countries so can say this fairly?); had to park in the train station parking garage across a main road and then a walk -- had we known would not have stayed here for just an overnight with amount of luggage we had to drag to hotel (security fears).

The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city but still reachable by car. It only takes 10min to walk to the big church. The hotel facility is very good, style, and functional. The breakfast was good. And the staff is very helpful in accommodating my parking and late checking out.

I didn't know I have to pre-book the parking at the hotel, as well as how to get to the parking before I reach the hotel. I have to double park the car, walk into the hotel and get the parking settled.

From the moment we arrived, there was nothing to fault with this hotel. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The rooms were "quirky" but big and very comfortable. The shower was amazing, hot and powerful. The location was also really good - only a 5/10 minute walk to the cathedral and quay side (for restaurants and bars). The parking was convenient and safe and a real bonus as on-street parking was limited.

Very new and fresh, modern decor. Larger room and bathroom (a great shower) this is a very clear step up from the usual Ibis offering. Very well located in central Amiens, also close to the station concourse. Despite what the spec says on Booking.com there is secure parking on site, but must be booked in advance.

Our only minor gripe was the towels - these were the standard issue Ibis, too thin and a bit small. Everything else was ‘Ibis++’ so this seemed a bit of an oversight.

Breakfast was both ample and delicious, served in very pleasant surroundings. Although right in the city centre, the hotel had its own underground parking which I was able to reserve in advance - a useful bonus. The reception / foyer area is attractively and comfortably furnished in a modern style. The staff were very he;pful in many ways.

This is a really comfortable hotel. It ticks a lot of boxes: really good bed, great shower, super breakfast, friendly staff, sound proof room, you can get free coffee at any time. No coffee maker in your room, but you can get it downstairs. And if you think about it: that’s far more eco conscious! Highly recommend this place.

such a fun and funky hotel ! The candy bar was such a nice touch and the decor and lobby / bar / lounge area very nice . Beds were super comfortable and breakfast was good ! the location was good as a short walking distance to the bars and restaurants in the old town . Elias was super friendly and made our stay .

Lovely modern feeling, room good size. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good spread. Room was really clean and seemed new or recently renovated. Loved the water jugs that you filled yourself and took to the room.

Air con was not easy to use and the room got very hot
