Château de la Gaude

the decoration is amazing, so much art all over feels like a museum. the view and the surrounding are breathtaking the food is just top of the line, each and every restaurant is just amazing and very tasty the beds are super comfortable .

the room and the view from the room is very disappointing , also a bad smell in the room was not pleasant. the service does not meat the expectation too many events destroy the guest relaxation and tranquility.

A beautiful hotel just outside Aix-en-Provence. The hotel and grounds have been renovated to a very high standard, and around every corner there is another beautiful vista to surprise and delight. Stunning artwork adorns the walls and amazing sculptures are dotted around the grounds, . The staff are excellent - attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the wine-tasting led by Andrea, and the service of the restaurant team in La Source was superb - our thanks to them all.

The room we had was light and spacious, and very comfortable, although one small niggle was that there could have been a bit more light in the bathroom.

Amazing nature, well maintained chateau and awesome gastronomy

The cleaning staff at a a Chateau is thirsty to petty cash, don’t leave anything in your pockets or purse if you leave the room. We went for breakfast to discover later on that cash was taken of a purse of my partner, disappointing experience to wake you up from a tranquility of an amazing nature and charming Provence. Mediocre gym facility for a place with such a huge plot of land with separate SPA Centre - gym of a size of bathroom is somewhat shortsighted planning of space for your core audience who do care about health and well-being

Loved the beautiful country setting of the property with its beautiful manicured garden. Thank you so much for the beautiful welcoming gift, a beautiful bottle of the state Rose that we drank on the beautiful barmy afternoon in the terrace. Loved of about it. 😍

Our room #3 was next to the stairs, so I was wakened up by some guests arriving late to they room. I am a light sleeper. I was hoping to have a great sleep and not be disturbed by city noises. I was not happy.

Awesome location full of contemporary art. Good food.

All restaurants were closed, nobody said us about it before check in. Room service and all personal were terrible. For example we asked a bottle of wine and lunch, but wine came 30 minutes later. Next day room service came with lunch but without forks and knives. And so on.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely clean, one the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The wine tasting included was a lovely extra!

The breakfast was expensive and lack of choice of options on the menu. Cost €70 for 2 American breakfasts which included just eggs, pastries, a hot drink and an orange juice. Would of preferred an option actual off the menu options like eggs benedict, full cooked, granola or just a buffet where you get to choose the pastry/bread yoghurt.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at Chateau De La Gaade before our wedding in Cotignac. WOW is all i can say. The venue, the staff, the drinks and the food were excellent - we could not fault anything. Staying in the wonderful main house we had a large and comfortable room - My Wife to be at the time loved the vintage Louis Vuitton trunks everywhere. We ate at the Japanese (we've had better) but it was very good and the Sake we were reccomended was excellent. The brasserie was our main outlet for lunch and dinner and the daily specials were superb. The bar staff were excellent and made whatever you desired or recommended something to try. We spent 2 days by the pool and loved the calm environment of the pool along with the wonderful wine tasting they put on for all residents. Wonderful setting and decor and we will certainly be back next time we are in France!!

Bed could have been slightly larger and was not much room for luggage in the room due to furniture and trunks etc but we managed with 3 large suitcases.

This property was absolutely amazing! The pool is beautiful & the grounds were so pretty with lavender bushes & sculptures everywhere! They also have their own vineyard so we got to watch them go through grapes! The rooms were large, bedding was comfy & bathrooms were pristine. If you want to go into town it takes a little for the taxis to come (you just ask the front desk to call for you) but other than that everything was amazing!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chateau de la Gaude, and I must say that it was an absolutely amazing experience. I was captivated by the stunning landscape surrounding the hotel. The view from is nothing short of breathtaking. The hotel is strategically situated in a location that offers panoramic vistas of nature's beauty. Waking up to such a stunning view was a true delight and instantly put me in a relaxed and peaceful state of mind.

Recently renovated, immaculate property. Only a 15 minute drive to Aix and in average 45 minutes drive to other villages in Luberon area.

We had a technical / heating problem in our room which was fixed on our second day. However, since the weather was pretty cold we had a hard time with the cold in our room in our first night.
