Le Concorde

The room was very nice and comfortable. It was perfect for a solo traveler. I liked the room’s colors and vibe. It’s also great that this hotel was in the center of Aix-en-Provence and within 5-10 minute walking distance to la Vieille Ville of Aix. There were many restaurants nearby and cafés that were great. Loved the view from the hotel window!! I was on the troisième étage and the view was wonderful, especially for the inexpensive price. The breakfast was great. It was 15€ but worth it and so delicious. I stayed in Aix for one night and had a great time.

While it is great that the location is close to the old town and the centre, I felt uneasy at night in this location. There’s a bus stop near the hotel where it could be a little scary at night. There were also groups of men behind the property in the other hotel at around 11:30 PM - midnight and they were loud so I was bit nervous, especially since the gate of the hotel doesn’t lock and require a code until midnight, so anyone could just walk into the hotel if they wanted to. Overall, if the security could be improved that would make the stay here better. This was a great stay and the staff went over and beyond to make my stay nice.

This is a lovely hotel and it's the second time I've stayed here because of it's perfect location just outside the old town and close to the university where my son is studying for a term. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would recommend staying in the main building on the third floor as you get a lovely view over the rooftops. The rooms are small but very cosy and there's good wardrobe space. Traffic is busy in the morning but the balcony doors are well insulated. We didn't have breakfast here as tended to go into town and have a coffee and croissant on one of the squares, but you can have breakfast in the small hotel cafe area.

location was fantastic! so glad we decided to stay here instead of inside the city centre. it’s only a very short walk and there are lots of shops and places to eat across the street. it’s quiet and there’s lots of outdoor tables and chairs to relax or eat which is great for the little ones who don’t like being stuck inside a room.

like many places in France the building was old but also somewhat charming. the courtyard in our room had a broken glass panel which could have been very dangerous if it completely shattered if touched or bumped. breakfast was average. would recommend just going across the street to eat at a nicer place.

Room was a very good size (room number 100) and it had a lovely balcony. The location was perfect - just across the road from the "historic centre". I didn't have a car.

The room was quite hot - I had to turn the radiator off and put the air-con on and it is February! The curtains could have been a little heavier - it was quite bright in the morning. The bathroom needed a little up-dating. If you like a bath it was pretty small (I am a size 12/14 woman) and the shower was missing the lever to change from tap to shower - but everything worked and there were plenty of towels. There could have been more coffee sachets in the room and possibly some long life milk. I ended up buying some coffee in the supermarket below. I didn't use the mini-bar but maybe 2 small bottles of wine would be a nice touch and some biscuits?

I don't have any particular points to make regarding staying at this hotel. It's easy to find and conveniently situated but I can't think of anything further to add to emphasise it's facilities or character. It fulfills it's function and that's all I really remember. The town, however, is an enjoyable place to stay.

Nothing of particular note although I did find the person on reception somewhat terse when I booked out but I can live with that!

The hotel was different than I expected, but everything was perfect and the girl at the reception was so so friendly and welcoming. The Concordia is really just across the road from the old centre of Aix en Provence. There are plenty of restaurants, bistros and takeaways within a very short distance. We stayed here for 3 days and loved every minute. Also, Aix is full of very pretty shops and boutiques :o)

Parking was a problem for us, but the hotel have an underground car park which was not high enough for our car. Breakfast was very good, but we don't like using ready packed single portions.

Clean and comfortable, rooms well air conditioned in the summer heat. Well located on the outer edge of the old part of town, it took only a few minutes to walk to the center of the old town

nothing, all good. Pool in summer heat would have been good for the kids but having this probably would have meant staying further away from the town

We used two rooms for our family (5 people). The triple room was spacious and we stayed very comfortably. The hotel was near the city centre, but it was rather quiet. We had a very good sleep. We travelled by car: we could leave our car at the hotel premises and enjoyed a walk around. Very convenient. The courtyard was pretty.

We used two rooms which were not close together. But it was not a problem at all.

Location was very good, stores, restaurants and all the fountains are near. The room was very clean and spacious. There is a huge pomegranate tree in the backyard. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast area was very tidy.

The hotel had a garage for our car, but it was quite tight to get in there and park in it. Breakfast was not so satisfactory, there was not much of a selection of food and the breakfast room was quite small. The toaster was not working well.

Convenient location, next to convenient store. It is really quiet. Our room was facing the garden it is so tranquil with the sound of Cicadas all day. The aircond was godsend during the heatwave. Toilet and bath are separated which is a great design. Cleaned everyday smells lovely throughout the property.
