City Résidence Aix-en-Provence

This little apartment was a great value. The kitchenette was pretty well stocked. We were able to get supplies at the gas station mini-mart down the road, or the Casino supermarket (which was a bit farther) and make breakfast in the apartment. The air conditioning worked great, which we appreciated since it was pretty hot outside. We could walk to the city center in 20-30 minutes. I also liked that the toilet and shower/sink were in separate rooms, which was convenient when 3 people were staying in the apartment.

The desk attendant was not super knowledgable about the surrounding area, but I guess with Google available that's not so important. The surfaces and paint in the room were a bit grubby - things could use a deep clean. But overall it wasn't too bad.

Pet friendly and all the staff loved our dog. Welcome was friendly and facilities what we expected, Studio very clean and well presented. Comfortable bed, kitchenette equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for the washing up liquid. Location good - about a gentle 20 minute stroll into the centre of Aix.

Car parking was a bonus but car park access in next building a little complicated when carrying a few bags - but having the parking was important to us and at 5 euros a day - good value.

Spent 2 nights here in March 2022, our selection criteria was the onsite parking (5 eur / day upon request) being still close to the old city center (max 20 min by walk). The appart was large, with spacious bathroom (usually not the case in France) the bed and even the sofa bed were extra comfy with good quality bedding, staff was nice and helpful, aircon/ heating worked well. Wifi needs email registration each time when accessed, but strong enough. Overall good experience, considering a light walk of 15-20 min to the old town, we did it even by night, there was no security concern. And the place was really quiet by night, no noises from the street, neither from inside.

Only negative point was that kitchen equipment was not properly cleaned, dishwash would normally be the guest's responsibility, it is however annoying to do it after others.

The hotel is located 15 minutes from the center. Quiet and clean place. The kitchen has everything you need.

I lived on basement floor. The view from the window is blocked by bushes. It's a bit dark in the room. There are no shops nearby. The nearest large shopping center is a 20-minute walk.

Surprisingly quiet. Fairly comfortable apartment. Staff very helpful. They had problems with power cuts in the morning so did not charge us for breakfast one day.

The problems with the electricity and WiFi. Some distance from. The centre. Nevertheless there was a bus Into town quite near.⁸

Location was excellent and within walking distance to where we wanted to go . Breakfast was excellent.

Room was warm but staff provided A fan. A/C was not working as they were still on winter setting. Ran out of toilet paper in evening .. no staff available to replace.

The place was clean and though we didn't use the kitchen we really appreciated the option. The staff allowed me to check in early for an extra charge which was appreciated.

The location was a bit far from town and public transport is not very accessible. We did attend an event at the Stade Maurice David which was right next door and that was perfect!

The room had all the necessary equipment to prepare small meals, was clean and comfortable. The room was comfortably warm in the cold weather.

The hotel is around 25 to 30 minutes walk from the centre.

Quality bed, close to the city center., 20 minutes walk from city center. The apartment was big, separated wc from bathroom. Garage for the car. Dog are welcome. The centre of Aix en Provence is beautiful.

Outside pallet furniture is uncomfortable.

great rooms. clean, bath is great addition, comfortable and cozy. very safe

staff expected us to clean whole room and empty bins before you go. toilet and bathroom are seperate, bit far from town and bus is uncommon
