Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! It has everything you need, casino, club, good food, cafe, pool and the friendliest staff that I have ever encountered.The decor throughout the hotel is stunning...it was my kind of style! At check in (I believe his name was Raphael) the receptionist was kind enough to upgrade us from the Garden Tower to the main one, which I really appreciated! The pool area was nice to hang out at while soaking up the sun, and be able to order drinks from the outside bar. If anyone ever visits Santo Domingo, I would definitely recommend this hotel! You will not be disappointed! I wish I could've stayed longer. : (

The Renaissance Jaragua is a second home to us where we come conduct business and also enjoy quality time amongst family. The hotel and it's ground are always kept clean and beautiful. The ocean view from the hotel is breathtaking. All the staff are amazing as is all the food, beverages and entertainment! The Jarauga is perfectly situated in the heart of Santo Domingo directly across from the Malecon with beautiful ocean views. The location of the Jaragua makes it easier for us to get around the busy city. The hotel always has a car service available to guests for safe travel. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, and parks including the Plaza Juan Barron, a small amusement park in walking distance. The hotel has several eating options both indoor and outdoors, a fully equipped gym that my family enjoys using to keep their workout on and the beautiful Zui Spa where they offer many different wonderful services. In addition to having conducted our own business meetings, we have celebrated birthdays and have also witnessed several big conferences and many beautiful weddings hosted on the lovely hotel grounds and banquet halls. A special thank you to some key people that make your day extra special like Argellis & Alfredo who are always ready to welcome you with a smile and Orlando at check in with his awesome customer service ready to assist. The delicious food and wonderful staff at the Luna restaurant Brenda, Ivan, Omar, LLoby, Milcy, Gisel, Hermes, Alex, Mona, Yolbis, Ludy, Avanny & Chef Vianta. Let's talk about my pool crew, the Dream team at the Sol Bar with the best of the best ready to provide service with lots of love, food & drinks Castro, Cristian, Joaquin, Fidel, Jonathan, and the best Chef's in town Pablo And Russo! They always make our stay extra special! Our Sol Bar family surprised me with a beautiful celebration for my birthday!

Very comfortable rooms , nice swimmingpool with good snacks , free parking ...very good value for money . Breakfast por 21 dollar per person seems reasonable to me and was of good quality (small children eat free )

The staff was wonderful overall clean inside. My room had a really bad sewer smell. The people staying across from us was super loud and would talk on the phone in the hallway at all times. That's not the hotels fault but I expected it to be managed. I had to call several times to get the room cleaned and waited 4 hours one day. The smaller pools are super dirty and moldy. The pool with the lounging chairs and cabanas was clean and the area and were clean and attentive. I would stay here again the price was reasonable. I would complain about the smell in my room if I stay there and I experience the same issue

The staff was good they could clean the surrounding bodies of water that aren't the pool but surround the building that was really bad

It was great to see young new employees very educated with great customer service skills especially Adonis from security I was buy the pool a little later and his approach to me to exit was perfect I felt respected and appreciated even if in the wrong great hospitality coffee bar and reception great

Bottle water ran out in hotel none in the room but again employees to the rescue late reception they found and brought to me

This is a modern, very well maintained property located directly on the Malecon, It is within walking distance of the colonial city. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at in the Dominican Republic. Staff is friendly and efficient. Great pool area and outdoor bar/restaurant. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

Very high price for a simple buffet breakfast. Considering the cost of the room, this should have been included. Many of the rooms do not have much of a view.

am a client and I paid for the executive floor, the treatment on the ground floor is not the same as upstairs. I asked for a kit of dental toothpaste and a gown and they brought me the brush the next day after requesting it and they never gave me the gown I ask for ocean view pool side

Breakfast was good! Buffet style and all organic. The staff is so welcoming I didn’t want to leave . Thanks to a few people who made me feel welcomed. Miguel at the main bar and Carlos . Pablo and Christian by the pool bar was so nice and can’t forget how Kathline and Michael make sure that we felt like VIP guest.

Nice and clean workers was excellent and security guard went beyind. No one can't fo tru security without a face mask they will providing you a new face mask desk service. Speak english easy to understanding. Foot place was great swinning pool was comfortable beautiful place guarentee you won't regret to be there nice view to the ocean

The computer doesn't recognize my booking by my name. When i had booking my reservation i didn't have to pay taxes when i got to the hotel didn't show my payment. Than

everything was really fabolous and cozy and the staff really friendly and professional, excellent service,the room was really clean,big and comfortable,even those who work carrying the luggage are super attentive
