Louis Paphos Breeze

The people are those who make this hotel a nice experience. Plamen who takes care of the infrastructure and is also a lifeguard takes care inter alia of the indoor heated swimming pool - in November this is important. He also gave me good advice for places to visit. Stanka was keeping our room tidy and clean - the rooms are of very good size with practical arrangement. I liked that there is a good hair dryer and a fridge. Eleni was another very helpful lifeguard, waitress and occasionally babysitter :-) - very attentive for all children around. The team in the restaurant and the bar is making everything possible that you feel good, even brought plain pasta for my child, when there was none in the buffet. Oxana, Milena, Laur, Rozalina, Maria and the others whose names I did not retain were all very attentive. The buffet is very good (Nonna is the chief cook) - the size varies according to the number of guests and there is a different theme every evening - from local, to Italian and Asian. I noted that the buffet includes gluten free and lactose free options (however, if you have a serious condition better warn the staff). Salads and vegetables are also available. Cyprus seemed to me very meat oriented and I was amazed of the amount of fries that goes with every meal served in local restaurants - so I appreciated the buffet in the evening. The hotel has a kids' club - my child was very happy under the care of Tanya. There are a couple of English native speakers in the kids club for the older kids. The club has materials to draw, puzzles, games, music. The playground is small for younger children but decent. There is a small kids' pool - 40 cm deep outside. There is a small beach just in front of the hotel - bring swimming shoes, however, as the beaches in Cyprus are with a lot of pebbles.

The hotel is somewhere between Paphos and the Coral Bay. There are no shops around in walking distance. There are excursions from the hotel and some regular trips to a shopping mall but if you would like to be independent, you need a car (there is a free parking at the hotel). Be aware that you drive as you drive in the UK and New Zealand :-) but traffic was calm in November. Also you need an adaptor and it is better to bring your own as many guests actually end up asking the hotel. The adaptor costs between 2 and 2.50 euro in the shops. You will also need cash in Cyprus - after COVID I thought we are (almost) done with cash but not in Cyprus.

The room was very comfortable and had everything one could require. Food was fantastic - the breakfast selection and also the evening meals, wonderful selection and all very, very good! Staff were very friendly and responsive!

The fact that the pool was open for use so late and closed for use so early. Because I was visiting to pack up a family member's home, I was leaving quite early each morning (pool opened for use at 09:30) and getting back quite late (usually around 17:30 - and the pool closed for use at 18:30) meaning, that I barely ever got to use the pool, which was a shame.

This is an excellent place for a family vacation! Very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Once we were late for dinner and asked to wait for us. we could have snacks, but yet the staff waited until our arrival before closing up which was thoughtful! We especially like the food - a great variety and quality - we took an all-included deal which was very comfortable - you get food ALL the time - very handy with little kids. We even used the kids club and left alone 5 yrs old toddlers - they loved it! There are a couple of very nice pools and a heated one which was useful as we had chilly weather. The rooms were wide, and clean, we had a separate room from the kids and a balcony. We enjoyed the cocktails. Recommended!

We had some problems with hot water in the shower, but it wasn't a big concern and seems to be a very local problem in our room.

1. Very good service overall - very friendly and helpful staff. 2. Great food - both for breakfast and for dinner - amazing variety, my picky kid (who loves meat) could always find something to his taste, and I (as a vegetarian) also had plenty of options.

1. No duvet covers in the room, even though it was April, so not very hot. Only thin throws on the beds. 2. No good coffee, not just as part of the breakfast, but even in a bar, for a full price per cup - you can get only machine coffee, not fresh one. I would recommend taking a french press with you if you can't start a day without a good cup.

Loved the staff - so friendly couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are nicely furnished, everything is so clean. Lovely pool area, great sunsets, lots of little touches make it special like fruit and soft drinks in the room, cocktail shots brought round to the pool every afternoon etc. There is also a flood lit tennis court and gym, which was perfect for our teenage sons.

The hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from Paphos and around 20 minutes from Coral Bay beach. There are no cafes, bars or shops withinh walking distance (accept one bar called the Dimma Bar which is ok), so you are best going for half board option with meals, unless you are happy to pay for taxis - its 20 euros for a return ticket to Paphos.

Spacious room, elevated pool view, kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, cleanliness, friendly attentive staff, daily housekeeping including free bottled water. I was greeted with a glass of champagne upon my arrival and the refrigerator in my room had been stocked with free drinks and a fruit salad.

Very slow wi-fi in the room at all times of the day, improves in the hotel reception area where presumably the router is located. Intrusive noise from a family in an adjoining room very early in the mornings during my stay and general noise throughout the course of the day around the main pool area. Location is quite remote and the nearest supermarket and restaurants are a 15 minute walk away.

The food quality is very good for all meals. The rooms are clean and very spacious

The location of the hotel is a bit awkward and there isn't a lot of choice in the immediate vicinity in terms of restaurants or bars. If you're all inclusive, this won't matter too much but I found that I was getting a lot of taxis into Old Town Paphos or the Harbour, so I could get a bit more sight seeing done. Better for families rather than solo travellers I feel. Also, I found the wifi to be unreliable so I wouldn't recommend if you depend on a strong internet connection to do some work. On 1 occasion, it felt like I was being rushed to finish my meal by the staff who were a little eager to remove the plate and bill me. The bed was a bit hard for my personal taste and I'm not a fan of waffle blankets but again, that my taste.

We had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend our friends and family to visit. The food is great; a fresh Mediterranean kitchen, with extra flavors from around the world. The staff is kind and helpful (in the most part), and very efficient. We never had to ask something twice. You can tell everything is very well thought out. The perfect place for a good R&R. Our kids had the best time, it was well suited for a family vacation, without being loud or tacky.

The maintenance of the pool water could be improved The shuttle services - since it's not a central location, it would help to have a more frequent shuttle service

We visited the hotel at the beginning of March 22 for a little pre summer break. We wanted to go somewhere to relax, and this is what we did. The hotel is located only a 10-minute drive from Paphos Town. Rooms are beautiful and clean, but most importantly, the food is DELICIOUS. There are options for everyone, whatever you fancy it's there. What did make our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Everyone was welcoming and professional, and they couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. A huge thank you to Laur, who introduced us to the local Cypriot wine and Maria from the bar, who made sure the air conditioner was operating because I had pressed the wrong buttons. Everyone went above and beyond, including the entertainment staff such as Greta from Nottingham and Dylan with his 10:00 stretchings. Cocktails are not that brilliant; not all the ingredients seemed to be available, and very strange substitutes were used.

The staff was available at all times with all questions. Amazing ladies at the reception, very nice waiters, waitresses and bartenders working in the restaurant and also super nice and friendly pool bartenders. My room was upgraded to a room with a pool view and I was greeted with a glass of rose and a really nice man took me to my room with that "mini golf car", which immediately left a good first impression. I was treated very nicely during my whole stay. The breakfast has a big selection of foods, as well as lunch and dinner. Pools were really nice and I didn't want to leave my sunbed near the smaller pool, closer to the ocean. Really comfortable sunbeds. From there you can look in the ocean and relax near the pool with not so many people around. I really enjoyed that near this pool you don't hear music. It's peaceful and perfect. The room was big, nice lightening and minimalisticly furbished but very very cosy. They gave me an extra blanket after the first night, because I was a bit cold during the first night. Also, you have your separate entrance to the room. Spacious, clean and cosy room with huge windows and nice curtains. I felt like at home, but better. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Also they borrowed me an adapter for my electronics. The whole area is cosy and not too big or touristy. It doesn't feel or look cheap. I didn't want to leave this hotel during my stay. Recommended to everyone.

There is no normal beach around, but it's not the hotel fault. Salad table could be improved a little bit. Sunbeds tops could be taken away when it's raining so that when it stops raining you immediately could have a dry sunbed top. I would suggest that the smaller pool near the sea would be adult only.
