Unless you book a room with a balcony, windows can't be open at all, which was quite annoying to me Generally, hotels in Costa Rica seem to be somewhat below the standard: 4 stars in Costa Rica is like 2 stars in Poland, let's say, and the cleaning standard could be better too Though rooms are normally spacious, and for some reason, double rooms feature two rather big double beds Rooms have a coffee making machine but unfortunately, no electric kettle/tea making facility which was somewhat strange

The facilities were not the best, when we got there, the room smelled like someone had been smoking in there and it was a "no smoke" room.. We were three and the beds were not as expected..The AC was not working properly, we had to lower the temperature for it to cool, and it made some noise... The room was not at all like the ones promoted on the picture for the value required.. O have stayed at other hotels for pretty much the same price and the rooms have been much better and much more comfortables and with 2 really double beds.

It was in a great location with walking distance to a grocery store and a few restaurants. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The fresh fruit options and quality of breakfast overlooking the foliage was a great way to start my day. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. This place is an affordable gem tucked in busy San Jose!

Water pressure was really low and for more than a few nights stay it would have been nice to have a microwave and/or mini fridge. Grateful for the ice machine one floor below us, but really needed a mini fridge. Ran out of washcloths the first night we were there, but at least room service came and changed the sheets and towels.

Our last nights in CR were spent in this Best Western. The room was a very good size, spotless and the beds the most comfortable we'd met in CR! The Breakfast was excellent; varied and fresh. Staff especially at breakfast were helpful, efficient and very courteous. This is quite a new hotel so facilities and furnishings were very good. The nearest eatery is a Dennys next door. The food was Denny's. All in all reasonable Value for money.

It is right on a major highway with very limited public transport so the journey downtown has to be taxi or car.

The front desk clerk named Luis was terrific. The front desk staff is always terrific and Luis is super helpful. The staff throughout the hotel are super also. The pool was refreshing and very clean.

I eat fruit, yogurt and Granola for breakfast. I cut the served fruit into pieces added them to a bowl and added glasses of the individual servings, I was not satisfied. After I added scramble eggs to my meal and gallo pinto. The eggs were without a good flavor but the gallo pinto was very good. The hotel is under construction but without problems for the guests. No coffee pot in my room.

The room was very nice with lots of amenities. It had a bathtub (not all rooms in the hotel have one though). Personelle was friendly and helpful. From my balcony I could walk to the pool, which was very nice. The inner courtyard has a huge tree, which, I don't know why, seemed really nice. Breakfast variety is ok. There is a Denny's next to the hotel, they deliver to the room.

Due to Corona you have to register for a breakfast timeslot each day. No fridge in the room. Location was great for me, but is not downtown and not near the airport.

I liked the room, the view to the pool and the service as well. Everything went out smoothly and efficient.

The restaurant was a little filthy in the morning due to the fact that pther guests had eaten before us. Even though the tables were clean, the floor was filthy at some spots with food residue.

Good hotel, large room with balcony, very helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, nice pool. Very calm. + excellent laundry service at 12$ the bag/ convenient for me as I am long time traveling

Only breakfast in the hotel, no restaurant for lunch or dinner. There is a Denny’s very close but if you want some healthy food you don’t have really what to choose.

We had a 2am flight so booked this hotel to stay at so we didn't need to sit at the airport for hours after dropping off our rental car. They provide hourly shuttles until 10 or 11 and then after that they will personally call you a shuttle at any time you need it. They were extremely helpful! Bonus points for the nice pool/hot tub and the bed was so comfortable.

We checked in for six hours prior to our flight since we'd come from Tortuguero that morning and needed showers/facilities for an afternoon. I think they must be in the process of updating their own gym but in the meantime we had access to the enormous gym located just behind the hotel. This, combined with the pretty pool and jacuzzi made our time here worthwhile. The rooms were clean and adequate. Perfect for what we needed
