Shanghai Fish Inn East Nanjing Road

Perfect location, next to metro line 2 which goes straight to the Pudong airport, and metro line 10. The hotel is in Puxi hutong area, just 5-10 mins walk from the Bund. And one metro stop from the other Pudong side of the river and the skyscraper area. Good price for value that you can get, if your requirements for the hotel room are not very high. Bed was comfortable, beddings clean. Staff is friendly, English speaking and don't ask too much questions.

The room could be cleaner, cigarette smell in the room which is common in any middle level hotel in China, toilet paper in the hanger was dirty, I guess they forgot to change the roll after the previous visitor :))

Convenient location. Basic room but all you need when travelling. Would recommend but check the prices. Ended up being expensive for what it was.

Being overcharged 🥲

Location was ideal - just a few mins walk to Nanjing Road and The Bund. Plenty of dining options nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. I booked the Deluxe Queen Suite which actually had 1 double bed and 1 single bed, so can comfortably sleep 3 persons. Staff could speak basic English and were super helpful.

The bathroom shower door could not close tightly so water leaked from the shower, There was a bit of a funky smell from the bathroom, but it was not unbearable. Price was on the high side but that could be because I stayed during peak period and booked at the last minute.

It's very close to nanjing shopping district, the bund, line 2 and 10 metro station and local restaurants. Taking metro line 2, its about 1 hour to pudong airport. It's very budget friendly and relatively safe as the inn is in front of a local fire station. The rooms are clean and spacious but the common areas are not well kept. Family mart is just a few meters away, if you are on a budget for food and drinks. There is a common area at the lobby where you and your friends can hangout, eat and drink. Just be weary not to make any noise after 12am.

There was construction going on in front of the inn so there are a lot of workers and scafoldings and dust around the area. The lobby is not well kept, reception and bar is dusty.

the location is just perfect, I had stayed in this hotel in my previous trips to Shanghai and loved it for the location. the deluxe suite was perfect for three people.

the first day the room wasn’t equipped with slippers and towels, we had to ask the reception. in the next days they gave us all we needed and replaced the towels every day.

You won't find a better place in this price around the bund area at Shanghai. It takes two minutes of walking from east Nanjing subway station to the hotel. The place is clean, has all the basic amenities, and there is a bar and restaurant too downstairs.

Location is great. Only about 200m from Exit 6 East Nanjing Road. Staff ist very friendly and helpful Midnight Check-In is possible Free Water and even free Coke :) Good value for money

It might need a little refurbishment here and there

The location is super convenient. Subway Nanjing E. Rd station is 3 mind walk away. There are many stores and food and landmarks nearby. As for the price, it's quite a bargain considering the location.

The location is perfect, just 100 meters away from subway Line 2 exit, and a walking distance to Manning Road and the Bund.

Room size a bit small, the stairs are slippery. Carpet feels uncomfortable.

restrooms could have had more privacy. had to cover the glass wall with bedsheets as the curtains they put not sufficient.
