Hampton Inn St. Catharines Niagara

The beds were comfortable, there was free wifi, there is ample parking, they provide a variation every day on breakfast (we stayed 5 nights). The rooms have blackout blinds. The staff are really friendly. It was in a fantastic location for visiting Niagra on the Lake and Niagra falls. Pool looks good. There is a couple of restaurants near by, plus fast food places. There was a small shop on site in case you needed water, juice, or toothbrushes etc

Suggestions: I think instead of having two desks in the room it could do with an additional set of drawers and bedside cabinets on the other side of the beds, also can’t reach down the back of the units where my daughters lip balm fell, it wasn’t the only thing down there as could see someone else’s room card and the top of the fridge was so dusty you could draw a smiley face. I had thought there might have been croissants at breakfast. A safe in the room would be really handy too I know a lot of the hotels around here don’t have them but it is good for those wanting to lock away passports or laptops.

I had an incredibly enjoyable stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was met with a warm and friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the room, bathroom, and hallways was exceptional, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The added bonus of a satisfying breakfast made mornings a delight. One thing that truly stood out was the availability of complimentary coffee, hot water, and a variety of teas – a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more pleasant. What's more, the staff's willingness to accommodate my requests for room cleaning, extra covers, and towels was truly appreciated and made my stay stress-free. But what truly amazed me was the presence of both a Tesla charger and a J1772 charger for electric vehicles. This modern and eco-friendly amenity, provided free of charge, highlights the hotel's commitment to sustainability and convenience. All in all, my experience here was fantastic. I left feeling refreshed and content, thanks to the wonderful service, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The room was small.

The hotel is new and well designed with nice black and white photographs throughout the space. Overall it was sparkling clean and shiny. The reception staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, but it would be great to add some veggie choices and cold cuts/cheese to the selection.

The pool is quite shallow and overloaded with chlorine. It would be beneficial to add a sauna to the wellness area. We did not like the disposable cutlery and plates for breakfast, it felt cheap. The hotel has no views, just highways or parking.

Rooms was clean. Bed & pillows were comfy. Staff super friendly, professional and helpful. Hotel common areas were very clean. Even saw a staff member spot cleaning a wall. Breakfast was delicious and we saw staff regularly refilling the food. Hotel location was very convenient, close to the highway.

Bathroom sink was completed plugged upon arrival. However, it was promptly resolved by staff (we liked that part). A good idea may be to have housekeeping run the water in the sink & tub during cleaning between guests, to ensure no issues.

Clean, comfy and pet friendly! Free access to the fitness centre nextdoor, decently sized room (queen 2 beds), everything looks new. Our room faced the back and it was very quiet. Plenty parking spaces in the back lot. It's located in a shopping area, about 20 min away from Niagara Falls by car, it's right off the highway, very convenient if you're visiting NF. Lots of restaurants around the property (closest is a couple of mins away on foot). Plenty residential (quiet) roads to take my dog on a walk in the back too. Extra points for the parabens-free and phthalates-free soap/shampoo/conditioner, it's the first time I've seen this in a hotel. Even more extra points for doing housekeeping on demand only, for short stays.

We were in St. Catharine's for our niece Heather's Celebration of Life. She was only 47 years old. We stayed at The Hampton Inn Hotel for Friday and Saturday. We live in Chatham. My daughter Ashley and son in law and little granddaughters booked as well for Saturday night. Hearing it was for this sad event, the staff was excellent. They made sure that my daughter had the room right next to ours and had it ready for them when they arrived at noon! Our other daughter Lyndsay and grandson only planned on staying for the day and traveling home. With concerns of weather, the staff offered that for an extra $10 each they could stay in our room and have breakfast if needed. They did not stay but it was appreciated. The hotel pool was wonderful and the little ones enjoyed the pool after the Celebration on Sat utday night and Sunday morning. The hotel breakfast was excellent! The kitchen staff kept everything clean - a difficult job especially on Sunday morning as a big group of teenage basketball players were enjoying a big breakfast as well. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel was right next to Montana's and Kelsey's and we ate at and enjoyed both and was also near Costco. It was easy to find as it was just off the highway. It was also an excellent value.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The parking was convenient. The breakfast was excellent. We appreciated the variety and the waffle station.

The room and amenities were quite good. Unfortunately, we left a phone charger plugged into the socket at the night table between the two beds and didn't realize until we got home. We called the next morning to see if it had been turned in to lost and found, but it had "disappeared." Not thrilled about the mysterious disappearance.

I stay here regularly and consistently have a great experience. Rooms are well appointed, staff are great. Breakfast is included and they have a full service gym. I was accomodated with a quiet room and late checkout

The only mild criticism I have is there was a little less variety in food choices than on some occasions in the past. However it is not necessarily or entirely hotel's fault. There was a very large group of families with kids who literally were taking much more food than they probably needed back to their rooms and seemingly wasting the food.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. We asked about tips on the local wineries expecting pretty generic info or nothing at all, but the front desk person went into a lot of detail and really provided great information. Apparently the hotel had sent the front desk staff on a winery tour to give them more knowledge! I’d certainly book again if I am in the area. Can’t complain about a thing.

This was our base for 3 days to explore the Niagara region. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable Lots of free parking Restaurants and Costco nearby (check Costco hours cause it closes early!) The breakfast is outstanding - only place I’ve seen with mini waffles & TWO kinds of waffle batter! 24 hr coffee/tea/hot chocolate available

If you use google for directions, it will take you around to the back parking lot and not near the front entrance
