-paper bag breakfast (not impressed / really not impressed -breakfast should start at 0600hr & not at 0700hr > people have to trave early (at least offer something for early travelers > I had to leave early & nothing was offered :-( > no breakfast :-( -get rid of the antiquated coffee machine in the rooms > install Keurig machine w/ variety of caffeinated / decaffeinated K-cups > travelers from out of province like myself appreciate in-the-least...a GOOD cup of coffee and also offer REAL creamers for the coffee

THE STAFF. We are musicians and work odd hours. While we weren't overly loud, we did stay up late and our neighbours had to be up early. Your staff was so incredible in sorting this out amicably, finding us a space we could chat freely and everyone could be comfortable. I forget the name of the gentleman at the front desk- but he worked from the 17th-18th overnight. He was INCREDIBLY KIND. I can't say enough, so accommodating, understanding for everyone, and just a positive attitude that made it feel like he really enjoyed his job and was just a good hearted person.

The rooms could be better insulated for noise. In my instance I was the guest that was staying up late but I can totally understand 9-5's or families finding it hard if there is young people staying there at the same time.

I loved everything about the hotel! The location was on point! The view of the lake was amazing! The staff was super friendly! Both ladies I spoke to in the day were very helpful and quite welcoming! The woman who checked us in had short, brown, curly hair, and I didn't get her name, but she needs mentioning because of how delightful she was. When we would come back in from outside she was quick to ask how our evening was and if we had fun! I would go back to the hotel in a heartbeat! Check-in was also a breeze with her!!! Room was clean and super cozy! The underground parking was convenient and easy. The room was clean! Thanks for knocking our stay out of the park Confederation Place Hotel!!! It was a 100 out of ten stay for my husband and I!!! We loved it and we will definitely be back!

Nothing. We felt safe, clean and welcomed as soon as we got to the hotel.

Love the location. Housekeeping staff were wonderful.

When 1st checked in I asked for a 3rd key. They made 1 but apparently that invalidated the first 2. I asked for 3 more keys. This time they must have only made them for 1 night and not 3. Had to get 3 more keys. This time they all worked for the whole stay. The front staff apparently needs more training on making keys. If the 3rd set of keys failed I would have complained to a manager, demand a refund of nights not used and extra for my time, then u would have left thus hotel and never use them again.

For the price it was beyond our expectations. Perfect location to walk everywhere. Safe parking garage. Huge spacious rooms. Has everything you need. Very nice towels. The continental breakfast had lots of variety and very filing.

The mattress was very hard for my liking. Same with the pillows. Usually hotels have hard and soft pillows. My only complaint about the breakfast was no substitutions. I'm allergic to eggs so that excluded the best part of the meal. I know you can't please everyone with all dietary restrictions.

The location is perfect, the staff was very kind and helpful, the room was spacious, clean, with a nice bathroom - I simply cannot understand why this place is ranked as a two-star hotel. The boats are a few second's walk, there are several restaurants - good ones, too - close to the hotel.

Breakfast is a shame: they advertise a 'continental breakfast' - what you get, however, is a box with the following items in it: a small joghurt, a small juice, a bit of butter, two hard boiled eggs, a slice of cheese + a muffin. You can ask for a coffee or tea (served in paper cup) - but not a slice of bread: when I asked for one, they said the eggs and the butter could be eaten with the chocolate muffin ...

The hotel was in a perfect location. Being downtown and at the waterfront I could enjoy the shopping, dining, nightlife and vibrancy of Kingston while able to relax, take time out from a slightly stressful few days and enjoy the natural beauty of the waterfront, its businesses and entertainment venues and people that would gather there. Funnily enough there was the quicker more businesslike and fasionable lufe of the downtown core cheek by jowl with the more leisurely, laid back, "time out for myself" feel of strollingby the lake watching smiling couples and families relaxed, sightseeing, taking photos and laughing hand in hand by the water. Both "scenes" were steps from the hotel entrance.

I would have liked to have more time to explore Fort Henry and the Royal Military College. But this was due to my need to rush through life and not "take time to smell the roses" as it were.

The location is central and it’s walking distance from almost every tourist attraction and restaurants. There are rooms that offer a great lake view. It’s a no frills place that offers just enough for comfort: get a comfortable night of sleep, pretty good shower, sort of continental breakfast in a bento box and that’s it.

Breakfast could definitely be better for the price you pay. For instance: an extra bread (you get a muffin), fresh fruits, choice of meat…etc

Excellent location and very nice hotel facilities. We had the "city view", which was nice. In the morning, we could see through the door of a "water view" room, and it really is a beautiful view, which I would spring for on a return trip. Hotel facilities clean. Very nice breakfast "box" with breakfast located in a nicely decorated room.

Parking ok. The ceiling is quite low (ok for cars), but watch out for overhead pipes that your trunk or hatch may hit when opening. Otherwise, no negatives.

Excellent location, clean and friendly.

The parking beneath the building is horrible. They have a sign about parking in the city lot if your vehicle is larger; however a mention that the rates are very reasonable could be mentioned. It cost $20 to park beneath and we could not go anywhere as it was a nightmare to park in that lot (involved 3 people to help navigate). Then we find out from a person there that easy parking next door city lot was only $4.
